#courage 💪 My mother reminded me last night that it’s been 20 years since I moved to Bangalore. Bangalore is home now. I can’t imagine living anywhere else. Growing up, my father worked for a nationalised bank. He got transferred every 3 years. We lived in many cities - Kakinada, Hyderabad, Vijaywada, Agra, Aligarh. Imagine uprooting your self every three years and moving to an unknown city- lock, stock and barrel. The thought itself scares me now. I really don’t know how my parents did it. Ma also told me that it’s ten years since I started my own thing. She keeps a track of everything 😅 Applauding me, she said “it was a very courageous move to start your own venture. We didn’t have that kind of courage” “You are far more courageous than I can ever be” I had to tell her. “Forget about moving cities, even the thought of changing my apartment scares me. I can never do what you and papa did” I confessed. Courage comes in many forms. While some are obvious, some are invisible~ they both deserve to be celebrated ❤️
Nothing beats the satisfaction of parents being proud of the child (for genuine reasons of ofcourse)
Changed cities at least 7 times. Homes 11. Schools 7 or 8. Exhilarating experiences.
Wonderful right up!! Totally loved ur way of understanding and respecting various forms of courage and especially what ur parents did!! Most of the children never understand this!!
This is beautiful! We are not even half as courageous as our parents. They would manage everything, no one knows how they did that including themselves. What a proud moment for you Gurudev Prasad for being admired by your mother!
Proud of you
Congratulations and well done Gurudev Prasad
Congratulations Gurudev 👏
Oh, beautifully written! 🙌 Courage indeed comes in all forms. We just need to have eyes to see it.
Congratulations on the 10 & the 20, Gurudev!!! Just like courage, inspiration too comes in many forms. Thank you for that. 🙏🏼

It's remarkable how courage manifests in various forms—whether it's moving cities or taking the leap to start a venture. Celebrating both the visible and the invisible is so important.
