💡 Tackling Light Flicker as an Event Videographer 💡 As an event videographer, I take pride in delivering high-quality work, and I recently had the incredible opportunity to film at the stunning NSW Parliament House. However, every venue comes with its unique challenges, and this one presented a significant hurdle: light flicker. 🔍 Understanding Light Flicker While our eyes might not perceive it, lights can flicker at rates faster than we can see. Unfortunately, cameras pick this up, making it crucial for videographers to find solutions. In the Jubilee Room, each light source flickered at different rates, making it impossible to counteract them all simultaneously. ⚙️ Tackling the Challenge Flickering lights can fall short of professional standards, and in this case, my footage didn't reflect the quality I aim for. Luckily, I had invested in advanced software that allowed me to digitally remove the flicker, enhancing the footage and presenting it to my client at a high standard.
