Hey, #SterileProcessing peeps: How many of you deal with the challenges of staining on under-tray liners? We’ve done complete evaluations of water supply, steam-condensate testing, washer chemical dosing, sterilizer loading, tray-inspection during assembly, and we’re running out of ideas on how to solve this issue. We are not necessarily seeing strike-through or consistent staining of the inside of the sterilization wrapper. This is not occurring with every wrapped tray and we also have this noted in the bottoms of rigid containers. Most commonly with vendor trays from various companies whether they are owned, consigned, or loaned. Thoughts?
