Here we go again. Two days ago, Governor Newsom issued this press release bragging about a whopping two recent enforcement actions. 🤯Yes, you heard that right - TWO. Gavin is apparently "proud of the recent work by our cannabis task force, seizing a staggering $19.2 million in illicit cannabis from across the Bay Area." I wouldn't exactly say that $19.2m is staggering considering the billions of dollars that flow into California's illegal market, but oh well. 🤷♂️ Don't get me wrong, if the allegations that these operations used hazardous and flammable material are correct, then the closures are good news. But there are thousands upon thousands of illegal businesses operating in California. Many of these do so openly with nearly zero risk of enforcement. So these two enforcement actions are a drop in the bucket. Not exactly the "win" California is making it out to be. He never gets embarrassed though. He's trying to run for Pres again
And the purpose of this post is ?
Building the #Cannabis Industry one company at a time!
1dAnd they can’t even test it and sell it in the legal market to make back their $1.3B they still want to steal from the industry?
