Influencer Marketing, Payments and Crypto Influencer Marketing | Payments | Crypto | Sustainable Marketing Advocate Open to Exciting Opportunities in Influencer Marketing & Marketing Analytics
$2000 average marketing spend and $77 average sales in the same period. This is the case for most businesses, as this study shows. There is a lot to unpack from this data, and it is quite obvious that the amount spent on acquisition is quite high compared to the revenue generated. We see a product category, Nest USA, delivering the highest revenue. Suggestions on how to deliver better revenue for other campaigns will be to look at the product categories that cost a lot to advertise and do not yield commensurate results. This could be tricky as Apparel delivered a high number of sales per quantity, but the revenue generated is low. This may be because the cost of acquisition per customer is way above the product, and the customer's lifetime value is even lower. As a result, we may want to investigate the channels for advertising and possibly optimize those channels or try newer ones. Another approach will be to reduce the advertising budget allocated to apparel and other non-performing product lines and distribute them to high-yield lines like Nest USA and Nest. #dataanalysis #marketing #productmarketing #marketingdataanalysis

Is it a bird, is it a plane, is it #retailmedia or is it just trade? (tracing across the sky like a shooting start...) Except for the bird or plane part, there is a lot of discussion at retailers about striking the right balance of own promotions, retailer brand, practical information, trade operations and retail media advertising. You hear the odd "here is 30% of inventory for you, now go make some money with retail media". I don't know if that is the right number?! Some say retail media is just a new name for trade marketing, but I think they are different. TRADE MARKETING ✈ it is probably a trade marketing budget if it funds necessary actions to turn the agreed inventory around ✈ it is defined as trade marketing if it is "below the line", promotional activity funded as a credit, not as additional revenue RETAIL MEDIA ✈ it is retail media if it is designed to move the baseline sales objectives significantly up ✈ it is retail media if it brings an additional branding effect or if it impacts sales outside of the scope of the existing deal baseline ✈ it is retail media if it is deployed in new channels ✈ it is retail media if it is added outside of trade negotiations I'd love to get some more defining characteristics in via comments! And to make things even more complex, not only must a #retailmedianetwork strike the balance between trade and retail media. It must also find the right balance of interruption and enticement of the customer UX. #retailmedia #trademarketing #retailmedianetwork #merchandising

🚀 Elevate Your Promotion Strategies with In-Depth Analysis 🚀 Promotion is a crucial aspect of business strategy, but are you truly unlocking its full potential? Running a Pricing Promotion analysis can provide insights into incrementality and elasticity, helping you derive the ROI of each activation. However, there's more to promotions than meets the eye. 🧠 Addressing the Gap: Beyond KPIs 🧠 In my extensive experience and discussions with stakeholders, I've identified key issues and opportunities that often create a gap between recommendations and business intentions behind promotions. 🌐 Additional Strategies for Success 🌐 To bridge this gap, consider exploring strategies beyond conventional results: 🛍 Promotion in Stores Example: Buy One Get One (BOGO) Benefits: Indirect impact on consumers, highest benefit to consumers. Costs: Cost of Goods sold (Free Pack) + Display + Packing Why?: Long-term promotion ensures brand loyalty and recoups packaging and product line investments. 💸 Multi Buy Example: Buy 2 Get 1 Free Benefits: Both direct and indirect impact, lesser cost than BOGO. Costs: Cost of Goods sold (Free Pack) + Display + Packing Why?: Enhances sales with varied packaging options. 📦 Extra Volume Example: Enjoy a 20% increase in product quantity. Benefits: Indirect impact, lesser cost than Multi Buy. Costs: Cost of extra volume + Packaging + Display Why?: Offers consumers more without a significant cost increase. 🎁 Free Goods Example: Get stickers, coupons, or other category items for free. Benefits: Indirect impact, higher or equivalent cost to Multi Buy. Costs: Cost of adjacent category + Packaging + Display Why?: Boosts distribution and acceptance of adjacent categories into stores. 💰 Value Off Example: Get Rs 2 off or Rs 5 off. Benefits: Direct impact, lesser cost than volume promotion. Costs: Value off + Packaging + Display Why?: Shapes customer perception, making them less sensitive to potential price increases. 📉 Price Off (TPR) Example: Receive a percentage discount in-store. Benefits: Direct impact, lowest cost. Costs: Value off + Display Why?: Ideal for short-term sales boost, with higher control. ✨ Let's redefine your promotion game together!
