Culture at #Vincular and its importance for me Reflecting on my 12-year journey in building Vincular, I realize how much I've learned and still learning. Running a business is vastly different from working in a large corporation. In a startup, you are involved in various functions, from billing to customs, and you learn how to manage and grow a business. This experience has made me more responsible and has given me a broader perspective on not just business but also how to lead a fulfilling life. My corporate career taught me the importance of clear communication and mutual respect in the workplace. This helped me understand the value of workplace culture and influenced how we shaped the culture in the organisation. At #Vincular, it’s about open communication, ethical practices, and respect for each other’s contributions. We’ve created an environment that fosters personal and professional growth for each team member. Our approach isn’t just about creating a positive workplace; it’s about building a space where everyone can excel and feel fulfilled. The culture we’ve built reflects our commitment to one another’s growth and success. I’m thankful for the dedication and passion of the team and excited for the continued journey ahead. Onward and forward. VINCULAR

As a team, we’ve spent a lot of time over the course of the past year redefining and refining our core values as a company. We started with regenerative systems thinking and scrapped everything we had to start from scratch. We asked things like: > Who are we and what do we aspire to be? > What do we want to bring into this world? > What makes Wildway, Wildway? > How do we think, act, and show up in order to make a difference? > What do we need from each other, as a team, and as an organization to create the positive change we seek to make in the world? It was an incredibly iterative, creative, and cooperative process (as it should be), and I’m incredibly proud of our team and the work they've done. Here’s a sneak peak of the first of five of Wildway's core values that came from this process. A testament to how we have to think and act to create a truly ethical, just, and regenerative future. 1. Be Unbound by Convention Being unbound by convention means that we do things Wildly different. It’s embracing change, challenging the status quo, and excelling beyond the standard. It's not about the numbers or the metrics, but about pioneering a new way forward that creates opportunities for positive change. Its actively progressing past and challenging conventional ways by embracing unconventional ideas.

𝗖𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗯𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗢𝗻𝗲 𝗬𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗮𝗱-𝗖𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲-𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘀𝘂𝗹𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴: Today marks the first anniversary of Offroad-Culture-Consulting! 🎉 It's been a year filled with exciting challenges, valuable experiences, and significant milestones. Beyond personal growth, it has been a year of meeting incredible people who sought support initially, resulting in trustworthy relationships, finally. Over the past twelve months, I had the privilege of working with over 10 amazing clients from various industries (spirits, soft drinks, beer, mineral-water, dairy, sweets, cosmetics, bicycles, creative-agencys), assisting them in developing new ways of thinking in the areas of: #corporateculture, #strategy, and #teamdevelopment. Through these collaborations, I've learned some key lessons. Here are three of them: 1.) 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝘁: : Regardless of the industry or task (strategy, culture, business development, handover to the next generation), sustainable success is only achieved when people interact respectfully and on an equal footing. 2.) 𝗣𝗮𝘂𝘀𝗲: Through taking a step back and playing around with some ideas (without intension), I developed a groundbreaking product that makes corporate culture visible, measurable, and therefore changeable in a structured way (less "this is what I believe" into "this is exactly, what we need, because we know why). 3.) 𝗕𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗲 The importance of remembering to breathe - a powerful tool to stay focused and be present in the moment. Sounds easy? We will see... Stay tuned for a series of posts where I will dive deeper into each of these insights (and maybe more). I will certainly share more about the innovative product developed to help organizations transform their corporate culture. Let me know in which of the above topics you are most interested in to hear and I will start with that one in my next post. Here’s to many more years of 𝗯𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗽𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲, 𝗰𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘀 𝘁𝗼𝗴𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 while enjoying shaping better work environments. Cheers, Winfried

This week marks the end of National Small Business Week and the one-year anniversary of my own small business, Claire Schell Consulting (claireschell.co). When I was working with the incredibly talented Ambrose Reed on my logo, I kept going back and forth on the core image. ***A matchstick as a visual reminder of my purpose - to be a spark for change, and to instill the desire for positive changemaking, in others. OR ***A dandelion - a beautiful example of the power of transformation (morphs from yellow bloom to white seedhead overnight) believing that our role in the ecosystem matters enough to stick through the tough stuff (they're awfully hard to uproot), and taking action to benefit others for the better (a "beneficial weed" that makes nutrients more accessible for other plants, enables pollination, gives other species a greater chance to thrive). I'm a believer in and practitioner of "both/and" thinking. Ergo: the match AND the dandelion in my company's logo. This year has brought so many incredible spark-filled conversations, seeds planted and scattered throughout teams and organizations, and positive change - for those with whom I'm working and certainly for myself. As I roll into year two, I'm grateful to all of my year one clients who trusted me to do such important work with them and am truly excited about what's to come. If you find yourself thinking about the pain points of your organizational culture, what to do to improve your team's dynamics, how to level-up your own leadership with healthier and more inclusive behaviors…please reach out. There isn't only one way to do it, but having a partner is a wonderful place to start.

🏈 Turns out, I'm not the only Green Bay Packers fan in here...It's game day spirit at Crombie as we celebrate birthdays and Crombieversaries. Suuuuuuper happy to see another 🧀head in town. Just like in football, building a great company and being a good Tech Partner is all about teamwork and strategic plays. Let's keep pushing forward together and scoring big wins in tech! 🚀 Here are three value points on the importance of a well-rounded team like the 90’s Brett Favre era: 🏈 👀Diverse Perspectives: A well-rounded team brings together individuals with diverse backgrounds, skills, and experiences. This diversity fosters a range of perspectives and ideas, leading to more innovative solutions to complex problems. Each team member contributes unique insights that collectively enhance decision-making and creativity. 🏈 😎Efficiency and Collaboration: When everyone works together cohesively, tasks are completed more efficiently. Each team member understands their role and responsibilities, leveraging their strengths to contribute effectively to shared goals. Collaboration minimizes duplication of effort, speeds up project timelines, and ensures that projects are completed on schedule and within budget. 🏈 🫂Resilience and Adaptability: In today's dynamic business environment, a well-rounded team is essential for navigating challenges and adapting to change. Team members with varied expertise and skills can pivot quickly when faced with unexpected obstacles or market shifts. This adaptability allows the team to stay agile, innovate in response to emerging trends, and maintain a competitive edge in the industry. These points underscore how a diverse and collaborative team can drive success by fostering innovation, efficiency, and adaptability in achieving organizational goals. 💻 #Teamwork #SoftwareDevelopment #GreenBayPackers #TechInnovation
