Let’s chat about loyalty and values. They’re hot topics in leadership today. You can’t scroll a website without hitting “values, purpose, and mission statements.” But what do they actually mean? From my years in the game, loyalty and trust weren't just buzzwords—they were lived values. You honoured them, even in silence. Everyone's throwing around values these days, often picking from a generic list. But for me personally, and now at GML, we’ve lived ours—honesty, trust, and respect—for 40 years. No fluff. No gimmicks. It’s not just talk—it’s how we do business. In a world full of slogans, it’s the people and businesses who lift you up, stand by you in tough times, and help you succeed, that matter. That’s what counts. Way better than a list.

Had another all hands today with a majority of our top execs. Every year we do a culture survey for the entire company for the execs and leadership to understand what is working, and what is not working. They then share a number of those insights across the company and talk about the changes they are planning on making --- it is a level of transparency I've not seen at other orgs. But the major thing that stuck out to me about today's presentation were our top two strengths as an organization. 1. We believe in our leaders and their vision 2. We believe in our product and ability to innovate I've not been at a company where those two things are so palpable. It feels like every day we are winning another huge customer. We are releasing another amazing feature. We are getting exciting updates on how the company is doing as a whole. I know that all-hands sessions are usually looked down on... ours are usually pretty electric and exciting to be a part of.
