Greater Orlando Sports Commission’s Post

Our first finalist for Executive of the Year is Jarrod Dillon, Orlando City SC & Orlando Pride. Jarrod played a key role in securing the 10-year stadium naming rights deal with Inter&Co and was an integral part of the negotiating process for hiring and retaining the coaching staff for both Orlando City SC and Orlando Pride. The hiring and retention of Haley Carter has seen a direct correlation to success on the pitch for Orlando Pride. Jarrod was also instrumental in bringing “Orlando Made” to Inter&Co Stadium, a new concept which brought in local restaurants to serve as the gameday food vendors. He was active in securing extra funding for the Orlando Pride, which translated into dedicated staff in ticket sales, marketing and brand alliances, and introduced several initiatives designed to enhance the working environment, including ERGs and ongoing mental health counseling.
