"If the first time you think about how you’ll evaluate your MVP is the day it goes live, you’re too late." In Part III of The MVP UX Research Playbook, Jack Holmes breaks down the role of research in preparing for a product launch — and what comes next. He shares his mixed methods approach to: 📊 Defining what data you'll collect 📐 Evaluating your MVP from multiple angles 🛣 Prioritizing which learning outcomes to incorporate "As important as getting the product live is, equal consideration should be given to what you will do with the learnings you gather." 🔥 Just finished an enlightening read from the "Design Thinking Toolbox"! by Michael Lewrick, Patrick Link, and Larry Leifer! 📚 ✨ The "Understanding" section truly captivated me, emphasizing how crucial it is for us as UX/UI designers to deeply connect with our users. This isn't just about gathering data, it's about immersing ourselves in their world. This approach has reminded me that the best solutions come from genuine understanding and empathy. What makes this book so valuable is how it provides a deep understanding of each method used in the understanding phase, offering practical insights and actionable techniques. I'm excited to delve into the other sections of this book.💡 #UXDesign #UIDesign #DesignThinking #Empathy #UserExperience #UserExperience #DesignInspiration #ContinuousLearning

Ever have one of those moments using a product where you just want to scream 'WHY IS THIS SO HARD?' Yep, that's UX friction. 😩 Common Examples: - Confusing onboarding that leaves you unsure what to do next. - Pricing information that's hidden or requires way too many clicks. - Error messages that make you feel dumb instead of helping you fix the problem. Tip: ✨✨✨ Next time you hit that UX wall, channel your inner designer Instead of just rage-quitting, ask yourself: What's the root cause of my frustration? Tag a fellow founder or designer who would appreciate a UX friction vent session. Let's commiserate together! 😂 #saasdesign #customerexperience #productdesign #uxdesign

In my exploration journey of UX and Systems Thinking, I've reached a pivotal point where my ideas and knowledge have materialized into a compelling visual representation (see below). Through a blend of creativity and strategic thinking, I've woven together various frameworks to craft a comprehensive approach to designing products, whether digital or physical, from inception to completion. I’ve named this framework/process as the DIKW Integrative Diamond System Framework OR a modified Double Diamond Process. A combination of Systems thinking, DIKW mental model and Double Diamond process. This image features another wonderful testimonial from a very happy client, and it says: "What we’re seeing, and the feedback we’re getting at this end, from the Editorial Board, the Trustees, Instructors and Learners is that the content is so much more visible, discoverable and accessible, now. It’s so obvious that there are so many additional resources for Instructors and Learners. And that’s exactly what we set out to achieve. Kudos to you and the team - this really highlights why it was so important to spend so much time in that early phase on user research, UX and testing." Bravand goes BIG on Discovery. It's an area our clients tell use we excel in: - Getting under the hood of the business requirements and user needs - Understanding a problem and articulating how a solution will actually work - Mapping and designing systems to identify the gaps and opportunities - Mapping and designing every interaction across each user journey If you want a chat about the benefits of spending time on that early phase, give our 🌳Ross a shout, yeah? - [email protected] - 07799 885 950
