🎉 Double the celebration, double the fun this May! 🎉 As we dive into Mental Health Awareness Month & National Share a Story Month, let's embark on a journey of empowerment and connection. 🧠 Mental Health Awareness Month reminds us to prioritize our mental well-being, break down barriers, and foster a culture of understanding and support. It's a time to shine a light on mental health, erase stigma, and promote self-care practices that nourish the mind, body, and soul. 📖 National Share a Story Month encourages us to celebrate the power of storytelling. From overcoming obstacles to embracing triumphs, our stories weave a tapestry of resilience, hope, and inspiration. Whether it's a personal anecdote, a journey of growth, or a tale of solidarity, each narrative adds depth and richness to our collective experience. So, let's come together to share, listen, and uplift one another. Let's celebrate the uniqueness of our stories and the strength found in our diversity. Together, we can create a world where mental health is prioritized, voices are heard, and stories are honored. Join me in spreading positivity, kindness, and understanding this month. Together, let's amplify our voices and make a difference! #MentalHealthAwarenessMonth #ShareYourStory #UnityInCommunity 🌟

Meet Hannah, the driving force behind our mission to revolutionise mental health. 👋 Hannah is leading this huge cultural shift, educating both the next generation and us on understanding, communication, and the power of language in bridging our inner and outer worlds. Hannah's journey, intertwined with motherhood, unveiled the need for proactive support in shaping our future. From this, emerged the question: "Can changing our words change our world?" Through dedicated study, ongoing research, and careful reflection the answer was clear: 1000% yes. With that yes, Mind Matters was born. 🧠🌿 🌟 www.mindmatterscic.com 🌟 #mindmatters #mentalhealthstigma #mindovermatter

Mental health and therapy used to be things you hid and felt ashamed about. But that was dead wrong 😑 Thankfully, people are starting to get it – the importance of emotional support. Still, there's a long way to go. A recent study in the US shows more Americans are seeking mental health help. Between 2019 and 2021, there was a big jump in adults reaching out for support, especially those aged 18–44, with women leading the charge. Life's a mix of highs and lows, bright days and dark nights. Facing those dark times alone? Not a good option. That's why I'm thrilled to announce Koto's fresh rebrand of Talkspace, right in time for Mental Health Awareness Month. Our revamp shows Talkspace’s 12-year growth and how therapy's becoming more accessible and accepted. It's all about ‘Making sense of it’ – making mental health care a regular thing, whether you're dealing with everyday hassles or serious stuff. Today, Talkspace is accessible to 130 million people worldwide. And hopefully it makes the world a little less gloom at important times.

If you’re gathering with aging parents this summer, we challenge you to set some time aside with them for some decluttering. Take it from our team, this activity is certainly more fun while your parents are still in good physical and mental health, and it can provide quality time and insights into family heirlooms and memories of the past. This article has some great ideas on how to make it a painless and fun event: https://bit.ly/3xSiNaw

Today at Novon Lighting, we were joined by Stephanie from Beneco, as we took a moment to ask ourselves, our colleagues, and friends… R U OK? While this week is dedicated to raising awareness around this important question, we believe it’s vital to ask anytime. Whether it's at work, at home, or in your local community, checking in with those around you is something we can do every day. As the demands of our roles, families, and daily lives grow, it’s crucial to stay mindful of how we, and those in our environments, are really doing. Today’s workshop with Stephanie helped us reflect on our well-being across different areas of life. We learned how important it is to regularly check in with ourselves and recognise the parts of life that may need more attention. Starting conversations about mental health can be tough, but you can make a difference by following these four simple steps: 1. Ask R U OK? 2. Listen with empathy 3. Encourage action 4. Check in again later Let’s keep this conversation going—every day.
