Here is another recent article I wrote on electrification published in Officer.Com's print edition last Nov-Dec, and online last month. The nation's law enforcement agencies are leading the rest of public safety in electrification with dozens of departments across the country having already added electric vehicles into their fleets. They do need to develop mission-critical microgrids (patent pending), however, as they continue to add EV's. Those vehicles need a robust, reliable infrastructure to provide fast charging at shift changes, and ensure their EV's work even during disaster conditions. #EV #electrification #electricvehicles #lawenforcement #leadership #publicsafety #microgrid
