One of my favourite monthly emails from the Unify PR & Marketing team is the one where we look at client results. It's not a vanity metric, or a pat on the back, it's an honest evaluation of where we are against the monthly KPIs set. This month, the team exceeded targets by 327% - what!!! Just amazing. But, how did we do it? 💡 We set KPIs for all clients at the start of the contract to ensure all parties know what can (potentially) be achieved, always challenging ourselves with more difficult KPIs. We never guarantee coverage or results, we give an estimation based on years of experience. 💡 We began Christmas sells in months ago, ensuring we were targetting all relevant features for our clients and providing our media contacts with timely information for gift guides. 💡 We brainstormed new ways of amplifying our messaging, researching what worked well and what didn't so we can improve on results each year. 💡 We make sure we know the brands we represent inside and out, whether that's understanding the industry, the key topics resonating digitally, hooks to newsjack or the actual products / services themselves. 💡 We operate a fast and efficient turnround for all media and influencer contacts, with all requests answered same day. 💡 We act as brand guardians for our clients but also advocates for our media contacts and content creators, always balancing the needs of both. I'm already excited to see the end of year reports for clients! Being in Texas Tech University and Gamma Alpha Omega, I have learned how to navigate the public relations field and current trends. The main trend that has grabbed my attention is influencer partnership because that is one of the most effective way to show off new products or events. Influencers grab the attention of the younger audience because they look up to them.
