3 years time Married ✅ Watch our family grow and watch my wife become a mom✅ I don’t want to forget in this post my family has been taking rapid steps just as my career has. SDI LaFarga COPPERWORKS™ Became a leader (IT manager) ✅ Helped the plant upgrade to D365 ✅ Helped institute other new systems that have helped our plant increase production ✅ Maintained culture while finding ways to increase that buy in ✅ Before Copperworks I had almost given up hope that a job could challenge me the way my time in the Army did. After 3 years I can say I was wrong. The leadership team took a chance on me to lead a team and transform that team into an asset for our organization. We are pushing production, and execution for all departments to unseen levels. Copperworks dedication to teammates and safety is unmatched in my opinion. We all know the main goal it to make sure everyone makes it home to their families. That buy in is what makes coming to work every day so rewarding. As that is said we have our second golf outing this weekend ⛳️. I would be wrong to not mention what makes us successful is not one person but instead one word culture. That word takes everyone to buy in, root out bad apples, constantly have culture as front of mind, and communicate how important it is. I can’t take credit for my success. I was put in place for a role and guided by all the leaders around me who care about what they have built. Copperworks and SDI have set a world class standard on how organizations should operate. But also how employees can really feel apart of a puzzle instead of a cog in a machine. Lastly I want to thank 2 other groups of people. The employees who report to me. Your ability to succeed with direction has made my job unexplainably easier. I give direction and you attack. My job is to continue to develop you, but you definitely make that easier. Also, to the non IT IT folk. I’ll leave it at that. Thank you and you know who you are. So thank you to everyone who took a chance on me, and I can’t wait to see what year 4 brings.

A year ago today, I hung up my uniform after 21 years of dedicated service in the Navy. As I look back, I'm filled with gratitude for the experiences, friendships, and opportunities that shaped me. I saw this sign [below], while driving the other day and I chuckled. While ominous, "rough road ahead" couldn't be further from the truth. My journey has been one of the most unexpected blessings. I've learned that sometimes, the biggest leaps of faith lead to the most rewarding outcomes. One such leap was accepting a position as an Executive Assistant at Precision ISR, LLC. shortly before retirement. I mean, I was a Flag Writer, so of course, this was right up my alley. As I had done in every position before, I didn't just do the bare minimum, I outran the job and found a new role I never imagined myself in - Small Business Coordinator. It's been a perfect fit! The flexibility allows me to be present for my children's sports games, school events, and family dinners. It's a joy to be able to witness their growth and be an active part of their lives - something I greatly missed during my last 10 years of service. Beyond personal fulfillment, this role has also allowed me to continue serving my country in a new capacity. I'm passionate about helping small businesses navigate the complexities of government contracting. It's incredibly rewarding to empower other small businesses/innovators and see them achieve their goals. Plus, there's some awesome technology out there that makes the process much smoother! As I reflect on the last year, I'm grateful for the lessons learned and the opportunities ahead. True - corporate culture has always been like this - latest form of rigorous work culture - without having a work life balance. Organization do promote work life balance but on the surface for the sake of promotion and fake claims and marketing strategies. inside if you go deep dive it’s “Dead lines” which rules the work floors and in sensitive attitudes. Who looses in this is employees and their families being forced into constant pressure and deliverables with micro management.

As we turn the page on this chapter, I reflect on the lessons learned and the growth achieved. The future beckons with its endless possibilities, inviting us to explore and embrace what lies ahead.
