The report offers a clear and insightful take on press releases. However, PRs must go beyond announcements to reflect industry trends, policy shifts, critical data and industry research providing scribes with a 360 degree perspective. Crafting spokesperson quotes that add new angles, rather than repeating the content, is a challenging but interesting task. It is actually a (throbbing) heart of the announcement. One should feel the connection just by reading the two sentences of laser sharp perspective. Ultimately, the real measure of success is how well the release drives trends and follow-up stories across the realms of print, online and electronic media.
