Wrapped Up a Big Project! 🚀 Today marks the end of a challenging but rewarding journey. I’ve just finished designing and implementing a complete set of graphics templates for 24/7 live broadcasting and streaming—suitable for digital, cable, and satellite TV. This project, worth in the high tens of lakhs, took a lot of late nights, coffee refills, and countless revisions, but seeing it come to life has been more than worth it! Creating these presets wasn't just about adding polished visuals; it was about crafting a seamless experience for viewers and simplifying the workflow for broadcasters. Every piece—whether it’s an on-screen ticker, headline overlay, or smooth transition—is built to keep the audience engaged and ensure that broadcasts run smoothly. When I started this, I knew the project would push my skills and patience to the limit, but those are the kinds of challenges that make us grow. Now, I’m looking forward to seeing it in action and hopefully adding more projects like this to my portfolio. POV: Investing in quality and precision may seem like extra work, but it’s what sets us apart. If you’re thinking of upgrading your broadcast or live-streaming setup or need end-to-end media and tech support, let’s connect. Always happy to share ideas or lend a hand! #ProjectCompleted #LiveBroadcast #DigitalStreaming #MediaTech #BroadcastGraphics #Innovation #GrowthJourney #Broadcasting #EndToEndSolutions

“Multiviewer” is one of those critical systems in every TV broadcast production studio, that can provide higher efficiency in workflow management. There are a bunch of different brands, prices, and features of Multiviewer systems that may confuse us in choosing a proper one, but there are some points to help us find the right choice faster and easier. The main use of a Multiviewer is to help a live or taped production and broadcast team to view and analyze the input signal lines, all together at the same time. The most important helping point is considering your “specific needs and requirements” in your TV production scale and also how large is your broadcast studio. Are you a local media broadcaster with a small group of audiences or a live international news broadcasting channel with hundreds of millions of viewers? Another point to consider is the “number of inputs and heads” of Multiviewers. The more your signal input sources are the more I/O ports of a larger multiviewer system you require. The “supported quality rates and formats” by Multiviewer systems is another important point. Whether the equipment supports 3G or 12G – SDI signals or if it supports special frame rates or bit rates of the streaming live videos must be taken into consideration. The “audio monitoring capability” of the equipment is also important. Some Multiviewers do not support audio monitoring and analysis. Reliability and scalability of the equipment especially during a live production is another matter of importance. Must make sure that the Multiviewer you are buying, goes well with all the things and equipment in the TV production infrastructure without even a minor interruption or break-off. Moreover, when developing broadcast production infrastructure or expanding TV stations’ scale, should note that all the infrastructure equipment and your Multiviewer must be scalable enough to be integrated into new levels of your production system. About Samim Multiviewer : Samim Multiviewer is a 24/7 powerful equipment to let you have PIP monitoring over all source videos and signals very easily. Broadcasters can enjoy modularity and flexibility by using Samim rack frames, hot plug card modules, and a web-based control user interface. Samim Multiviewer supports up to 48 SDI inputs, and 6 multiviewer heads and provides a customizable layout for 48 PIP previews. It can detect and log video faults including black images, freeze, loss, CRC, EDH, overload, etc. #broadcast #live_Broadcast #TV_Production #Broadcast_Studio

You can have all the best bells and whistles in broadcasting to make your production flawless but without the proper talent, those bells and whistles aren’t going to work for you. Integrating the latest and greatest advanced technology has to be blended with the broadcast knowledge and skills that can support the weight. It’s no different than any technological transformation we’re seeing across business. Take your pick. We get all pumped up for this new innovation that’s going to “take us to the new frontier” without addressing who’s going to be driving the car. A technical skills gap exists and that’s the reality. We have to ensure the right people are driving the car or it’s going to crash sooner than we’d like. #TechnicalSkills #SkillsGap #Broadcasting

Congratulations to ATSC member, Gray Television, as they roll out advanced features with NEXTGEN TV! With Derby Week kicking off in Louisville, Ky., Gray Television introduced several key initiatives to advance the NextGen TV transition. Earlier this month, their NBC affiliate WAVE became the first affiliate of a major network to broadcast all of its programming using High Dynamic Range (HDR) with Dolby Vision and immersive sound using Dolby Atmos. The “always on” feature ensures that all of WAVE’s local and network content will be in HDR with immersive sound. In Las Vegas, Gray’s Fox affiliate KVVU was the first commercial television station to launch as a NextGen Virtual Broadband IP Channel in December 2023. They are also using ATSC 3.0 to power new interactive and streaming services for viewers. And, in the coming months, Gray anticipates it will use NextGen TV and the RUN3 Platform to offer more innovative and interactive features for its viewers, including start-over, interactive gaming channels, and much more. Another giant leap forward to improving and innovating the consumer experience! #atsc #atsc3 #nextgentv #broadcasting
