Progress Over Perfection Let me tell you something—perfection is overrated. Waiting for the perfect moment or the perfect plan is just an excuse to delay. Here’s the truth: progress is what really matters. 📌 Every small step, every little effort you make—it counts. You don’t have to be perfect to start; you just have to start to be perfect. 🌟 Trust me, consistency will take you further than perfection ever will. Here's a simple design I made for @realmercyaigbe #design #designs #consistency #simplicity #jaesoftgraphics #graphics #graphicsdesigner #graphicdesign #graphicdesigner #pixellabediting #pixellab

𝙂𝙧𝙖𝙥𝙝𝙞𝙘 𝘿𝙚𝙨𝙞𝙜𝙣 ( 𝙘𝙡𝙖𝙨𝙨 #02 ) PRINCIPLE OF DESIGN ?? The principles of design are fundamental concepts used to organize and arrange the structural elements of design. These principles include: 1. **Balance**: The distribution of visual weight within a composition. Balance can be symmetrical (evenly distributed) or asymmetrical (unevenly distributed but still balanced). 2. **Contrast**: The use of opposing elements (such as colors, shapes, or textures) to create visual interest and focal points. 3. **Emphasis**: The creation of a focal point in a design, drawing attention to the most important element. 4. **Movement**: The path the viewer’s eye takes through a design, often directed by lines, shapes, and colors. 5. **Pattern**: The repetition of elements or motifs to create a sense of consistency and cohesiveness. 6. **Rhythm**: The repetition or alternation of elements, often creating a sense of movement or flow. 7. **Unity**: The sense of harmony and wholeness in a design, where all parts work together to create a cohesive whole. 8. **Variety**: The use of different elements to create visual interest and prevent monotony. These principles work together to create visually appealing and effective designs, whether in graphic design, architecture, fashion, or other creative fields. follow for more Hamza Sarwar #hamzasarwar #graphic #editing #graphicdesign #videoediting #course

𝗦𝗸𝗲𝘁𝗰𝗵 𝗙𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁, 𝗪𝗶𝘁𝗵𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗢𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 🤓 Now, here’s where many designers hesitate: sketching. Don’t worry, you don’t need to be a childhood artist to start. Grab a pencil and paper. In the beginning, it might feel awkward, and your sketches may seem rough. But here’s the key-- everyone starts there. #Graphic #design #sales #overthinking

Understanding the importance of kerning is crucial in graphic design, as this subtle adjustment of spaces between letters can completely transform the aesthetics of a text. Well-executed kerning not only enhances readability but also elevates the visual quality of a design. This seemingly small detail can make all the difference in how the audience perceives the professionalism and attention to detail in a project.

First design in March. A quick highlight of some design principles therein: 𝟏. 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 (𝐅𝐫𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐠): used elements in the design to draw focus and direct viewers' eyes to the main objects in the design (the images). 𝟐. 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐬𝐭: extensive use of contrast ranging from sizes to colours to show the difference and relative importance of elements and objects in the design. 𝟑. 𝐇𝐢𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡𝐲: used colours and sizes to highlight important objects. 𝟒. 𝐀𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐧𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭: objects were relatively aligned to form an optical balance. 𝟓. 𝐕𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐭𝐲: used contrasting colours, particularly "orange," to draw attention and place emphasis. CTA and March, for instance. 𝟔. 𝐌𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭: frame the objects with elements in the design to give a feel of movement that matches "Marching." (no rhyme intended) 𝟕. 𝐖𝐡𝐢𝐭𝐞 𝐬𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐞: what is design without negative space? (lol). 𝟖. 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲/𝐇𝐚𝐫𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐲: unity in the design was achieved through a combination of elements that work together to create a cohesive and harmonious composition. This was achieved by using: framing, contrast, hierarchy, alignment, variety, movement, negative space, and typography. What other design principle can you see aside the ones mentioned in the post? #designcommunity #designprinciples #designprocess #socialdesign #socialmediapostdesign #socialmediadesign #designeducation #adobeeducreative #graphicdesigner #graphicdesigning #flyerdesign #flyer #danlitiny #march #newmonth #cryptoart #cryptocurrencies #posterdesign #creativedesign #creativedesigner #creativeeducation

When facing any new project, including simply “tote bags,” we first ask how might we respond sustainably? In a recent visit to our longtime collaborators, Imagine Visual Service, we noticed yards of blank fabric in their waste bins. We learned that in order to direct print roll-to-roll on fabric, the printer needs 20 yards of lead material — which unfortunately ends up in the bin. With tote bags on the brain, we did not leave empty-handed. Thanks to to crafty nature of Nell MacGregor, we re-used this material to make tote bags for the Side x Side team. . . .
