Our exam format had just undergone a revision and there was hardly any information out there on how to crack it. As imagined, expectations were running high. And also the stress. During this time, my saving grace were the videos crafted by Lyssa. Her videos which included an explanation about each competency, as well as examples, helped me a lot. Lyssa took the time to really explain all examples of a best case scenario and a worst-case scenario, for each hypothetical situation. She has an engaging style of delivery, which makes the mundane task of watching any videos, really interesting. Thank you, for all the help, from so far away." For me, the process and journey are important. When I was first looking at how to prep for this exam, I was a bit all over the place. Learning about this course gave me and my study partner a container (with a time frame) to prepare for this exam. We did so over a spacious 6 weeks. This exam prep course gave me the confidence I needed to prepare mentally and physically for the exam. I really enjoyed the breakdown of the competencies, Lyssa's acronyms to help to remember how to stay aligned with PCC level coaching, AND the practice tests. I would recommend this program to anyone who needs a supportive, structured, and in-depth process to learn the competencies and practice." Heather K. 2 weeks ago someone reached out to me to know about my ICF Level 1 program. Soon after, we were in a Zoom call for closer to an hour. I answered all their questions related to the: - Level 1 program - Different credential levels - Different credentialing paths And several other questions. I also invited them to attend one of the 4-hour sessions of my current Level 1 cohort. They attended twice and were very happy too. Finally, they mentioned to me that they decided to go ahead and enroll for a program with some other training provider. They also were very clear about their reasons for their decision. To me it came across very transparent and they've taken an informed decision based on their preference. However, a lot of aspiring coaches end up making impulsive decisions without doing a proper research. Later they repent on their decision. Pon Latha A is someone who did her research for more than a couple of years and finally pursued her Level 1 program that suited her needs. She has invited me to join her in a live conversation today, (Sunday, 2nd June) at 6:30pm IST Here, I'll be clarifying a lot of questions that aspiring and seasoned coaches may have. 87 seats are filled out and 13 are left. If you have ever wanted to become a coach or learn about how to become one, register for this session now. I'll see you in a few hours! Here's the link to register. https://lnkd.in/eqbs7yDW

BREAKING NEWS FOR COACHES SEEKING THEIR #ACC CREDENTIAL: The International Coaching Federation has announced the NEW ACC Credentialing Exam will be available for ACC credential seekers starting on November 18, 2024. Discover more information here: https://lnkd.in/gkbPsbuK What are the differences between this exam and the current credentialing exam? 1. The new ACC exam is 60 questions. The Credentialing exam is 81. 2. The new ACC exam is knowledge-based, not situation based. 3. The new ACC exam is a 90-minute layout. The Credentialing Exam is nearly 3 hours. My next paragraph is total speculation. I want that to be clear: There's not much information on the site to go on, but if I were to stretch my imagination, based on what I see on this page, the description of the new ACC exam reminds me of the old CKA (Coach Knowledge Assessment). While not an easy test in its own right, the CKA was a better test of a coach's knowledge than the existing credentialing exam, particularly at an ACC level (IM[ns]HO). Yes, I've take both, and I am biased. For those of you you are awaiting your performance evaluation results, you might want to explore if this exam option is a more interesting way to go for the final step of your credentialing pathway. #coachingcredential, #acccredential, #icf, #coachingexam, #credentialingexam
