📊 Consumer Spending and Behaviour Report – H1 2024 – France 🇫🇷 Our newly-released Consumer Spending and Behaviour Report for the first half of 2024 reveals fascinating insights into consumer habits across Germany, France, the UK, and Spain. In the first half of 2024, consumer spending in France increased by 12% compared to the same period in 2023. Here are some key insights: ✈️ Travel: Spending on travel rose by 20%, with a notable 39% increase in hotels and accommodations. 📱 Mobile Transactions: Transactions on mobile devices decreased from 40% in 2023 to 35.7% in 2024. 💻 Technology: The tech category saw growth of over 24%. Despite the average order value decreasing due to the rise of Temu, it increased by 17% when excluding Temu. 🖥️ Desktop Shopping: Purchases on computers became more popular, representing 63.68% of transactions in 2024. 🛒 Online Shopping Trends: Monday emerged as the favorite day for online shopping among French consumers.
