𝐂𝐥𝐢𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐉𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐄𝐲𝐞 𝐨𝐟 #𝐂𝐎𝐏𝟐𝟗 #𝐃𝐚𝐲𝟎𝟐 National priorities for climate action are set through the Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs) and the National Adaptation Plans (NAPs). However, affected communities are rarely invited to participate in the planning and design of these plans and strategies. According to a UNHCR report launched on Day 2 of #COP29 only approximately 35 percent of the NAPs reported that they conducted consultations.
