What step do you think is missing for 73% of hospital technology fails? I think it’s preparation, before the initiative is decided. Too often, as evidenced by the statistic given, an initiative is decided that meets the c-suite perception of the problem to be solved, rather than solving actual front-line problem(s) that contribute to the KPI’s of concern. Better collaboration between c-suite and front-line workers reduces this friction. Tools that help here include Zone Culture which enables robust collaboration and innovation, rather than defensive stake-holder battles. The actual problem(s) gets diagnosed, rather than attempts at treating related symptoms that aren’t the actual problem for that site. DM me for more …

70% of hospital technology initiatives fail to meet their objectives. Have you ever faced the frustration of rolling out a new technology in your hospital only to see it struggle to gain traction? This statistic can be daunting, but it also shines a light on a critical area for improvement within healthcare. Implementing new technologies in hospitals isn't just about the tools themselves; it's about the people who use them and the processes that support their integration. Engage stakeholders early through town hall meetings to gather diverse input and ensure widespread support. This inclusive approach helps tailor change management to different departmental needs. Run pilot programs in one department before expanding to assess comfort levels and adaptability. This phased approach can be crucial in ensuring a smooth transition. Provide ongoing training and support through help desks, peer mentoring, or additional sessions for those needing extra assistance. This continuous support is key to effective adoption. Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to gauge the effectiveness of your technology change management initiatives. Clear metrics can guide your efforts and highlight areas for adjustment. Focusing on these strategies, healthcare organizations can significantly improve the success rate of their tech initiatives, leading to better patient care and enhanced outcomes. #healthcaretechnology #hospital #technologyimplementation #changemanagement #leadership NurseFusion

In healthcare organisations, especially those with clinically led projects, it’s easy for the boundaries to blur between digital transformation priorities and clinical responsibilities. Effective digital transformation in healthcare isn’t just about implementing tech, it’s about creating a seamless synergy between clinical, operational, and project and programme management (PPM) teams that goes beyond operating standard project management framework. In a high-stakes, highly regulated environment such as healthcare, clinicians, nurses, and social care workers need digital tools that support their mission without adding complexity. Therefore, the real work of digital transformation lies in the collaborative efforts behind the scenes, where PPM teams work hand-in-hand with clinical and operational leaders. This synergy is essential to ensure that tech adoption is smooth, intuitive, and genuinely beneficial. For healthcare teams, it’s not about mastering tech details; it’s about using tools that empower them to focus on patient care. How can we, as digital transformation leaders, strengthen this partnership across clinical, operational, and PPM functions to ensure tech becomes a seamless support to healthcare delivery? I’d love to hear your thoughts on building this synergy to keep the focus where it belongs; on patient outcomes and outstanding patient care. #DigitalTransformation #HealthcareSynergy #PatientCare #ProjectManagement #HealthcareInnovation #CreativeIntelligence #transformationalleadership #StakeholderEngagement #strategy #purpose #technologyadoption #transformer #BusinessTransformation #AIIntegration #DataDrivenCreativity

#TCCtuesday – Overcoming the challenges of digital transformation in healthcare: How TCC's tailored project management leads to sustainable success for hospitals In today's rapidly evolving healthcare landscape, clinics face a multitude of challenges on their journey to digital transformation. Despite the promising potential of new technologies, many projects fail to achieve sustainable implementation due to complex hurdles, from regulatory constraints to workflow disruptions. At TCC, we understand these unique barriers and have adapted our project management approach to meet these specific requirements. By working closely with our clients, we ensure seamless, effective solutions that drives lasting success to support medical staff and optimise the whole hospital process. The TCC project management team plans the holistic process for integrating these solutions, such as interoperable dashboards, decision support systems and comprehensive networking. All components are flexibly adapted to the specific needs of the clinics. The goal is not only to bundle a variety of data from different sources, but also to prepare it in an intuitive way. It is particularly important that the products are designed in such a way that they emphasize the clinical relevance of the data and enable medical staff to interpret it in real time. For this reason, a key aspect of the project management team's work is close collaboration with our IT and data analysis experts. Thanks to their expertise, the integration of AI-supported decision-making systems, dashboards and networking within and outside the facility can be planned and implemented individually. For example, the team ensures that the AI modules enable comprehensive and precise data analysis that is integrated into the medical context and enables clinically relevant decision support. The planning of seamless communication and data exchange between the various stakeholders – including doctors, nursing staff and external experts – is also taken into account in the project planning. A seamless infrastructure within the networks plays a key role in modern telemedicine and enables efficient collaboration and the location-independent use of medical expertise. The TCC project management team also oversees and organizes long-term support and technical assistance with the help of our customer success management and IT team. This includes ongoing maintenance, regular updates and the provision of support to ensure a trouble-free application and high user satisfaction. This continuous support process ensures that new findings and functions can be flexibly integrated into the existing systems and that they meet user expectations in the long term. #tcctuesday #telemedicine #digitalhealth #decisionsupport #AI #healthcareinnovation #projectmanagement #hospitalreform
