Many of us believe in growth, yet we fall short of applying it. Research by Carol Dweck says to focus on ‘yet.’ While a growth mindset is powerful, simply encouraging it doesn’t guarantee results. The missing piece? Application. Mindset alone won’t spark change. Without actionable strategies and a supportive environment, a belief in growth won’t translate into real-world improvements. Don’t just promote the idea of ‘yet’—build systems that encourage people to act on it. Growth mindset and the power of YET. At the beginning of this year, there were a lot of things I do not know how to do. There are still more I do not know how to figure out and there are the ones I have very good and I am doing just fine at it. It okay to not know how to do some or many things. You just have to be aware of your capabilities, know where you lack and acknowledge it. That is a good mindset, willing and ready to learn and improve is growth mindset. "I don't know how to write, talk, cook, create slides, use Google tools or sing" Your story will begin to change when you learn just one word. "YET" "I don't know how to write, create slides, sew, cook, or sing... YET!, When you use the word yet means you aware of your strength you just have to try, you just have to learn. You have transform your limitations to opportunity with just one word. A growth mindset unlocks your will, potential, and allows you to learn and grow. You acknowledge your strengths and limitations, and embrace challenges as opportunities to improve. Signs you have a growth mindset: 📌You see failures and limitations as opportunities to learn and grow. 📌You're curious and open-minded. 📌You embrace challenges. 📌You welcome feedback and criticism. 📌You ask questions.
