Rewiring, not Retiring After nearly 35 years in marketing—21 of them with The Scotts Miracle-Gro Company—I’m thrilled to announce that I’m stepping away from corporate marketing to focus on family, friends, myself, and giving back to my community, with some exciting experiential travel thrown in for good measure. Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of leading incredible teams, mentoring and coaching some tremendously talented people, working alongside colleagues and agency partners that I’m proud to call friends, contributing time and effort to causes that made a difference in our communities and travelling the world. These professional and personal experiences have profoundly shaped who I am today. Along the way, I've even picked up a few unofficial monikers that bring back fond memories and still make me smile, like: Flexible Ducting Dude The Motor Oil Guy The Candy Man The Lawn and Garden Guru So, what’s the "rewiring"? I’m embarking on a new, exciting chapter by launching my own marketing consulting business, Stratagem. My goal is to bring my passion for strategic growth and brand innovation to companies looking to elevate their presence in the DIY, home center, and hardware sectors. I’m excited to work with companies and agency partners who share this focus and are ready to make an impact. Thank you to all the mentors, colleagues, friends, and family who have supported me on this journey. Here’s to the next chapter—exciting times ahead! I’d love to stay connected, catch up, and explore opportunities to collaborate. Feel free to reach out, and let’s grab a grande, non-fat, half-sweet, extra-hot matcha latte (or just a coffee)!
Fantastic Glenn! Can’t wait for a new moniker to appear. Onwards and upwards!!

Glenn Martin, you forgot to mention the time you doubled for Russell Crowe as Maximus in Gladiator. Why YOU weren’t awarded the Oscar STILL remains a mystery!
