Attracting and hiring high performing Salesforce sales professionals is hard 😑 I regularly speak to Leaders from Salesforce partners who say “We are looking for top Sales people who have strong relationships with AE’s at Salesforce”.. but when I ask: “Why would someone who is performing well with another partner, by utilising their relationships at Saleforce, want to leave their current role to join here?”… it often takes the hiring manager by surprise.. There of course are reasons Salespeople may want to leave one role for another, like: 📍A better delivery team and more support through sales cycles 📍Better brand and positioning in market 📍Larger deal sizes and opportunities 📍Better career opportunities and progression 📍Higher pay, commission and benefits 📍Mentors to learn from But if you are hiring for a Salesforce sales role (or any role for that matter), don’t just think about what you need from them.. really think about what they can gain from joining you.
