I was just on a call with one of our new customers. It's a UK based company, roughly 300 people and I spoke to their IT and security leader IT. It's so interesting to listen to the point that he was making and I've heard it over and over again and I'm glad to hear it over and over again in the last months. The point that he makes is that he says managing identity access is a "shared responsibility" in companies. And I love that quote and I love that statement. The reason why identity access, in other words, is out of control in so many companies is because central teams try to manage it from the top, try to monitor people, try to sort of fix things when they are broken. But that's not the way this is going to work. In other words, the only way to effectively manage identity access is to make your employees part of the solution. To implement access control processes in your companies that work for your people and not against your people. I'm a huge football fan and I love football analogies. If your coach is working against your team, it's not going to work out, and that's a very valid analogy here.
