This is the 4 step process I used to help a marketing agency do this: 1) A lead list that matches their ICP targeting parameters - got clear on who and what companies they're targeting that fit their ICP (ideal client profile) 2) Sourcing the data from various data sources - we used Apollo.io and LinkedIn and enriched the data sets using tools like MillionVerifier, Enrichley, and BetterContact 3) Relevant messaging - messaging relevant to the ICP we're reaching out by focusing on their challenges and problems, and presenting them with a solution to those challenges and problems 4) Generating leads - fully automated outreach generating positive expressions of interests, following up and then setting appointments, and generating qualified to buy sales opportunities That was the process I used to help a marketing agency sign up 3 clients for a combined total of $$33k/month in new client revenue.

For every Sales-led company out there...you gotta do Outbound. Hard truth, but "getting Marketing" to bring you leads is only PART of the battle. Here's what NOT to do in your outbound: ⚔️ Ignoring ICP Segmentation - Many companies cast a wide net, thinking "more is better." But without targeting your Ideal Client Profile in SEPARATE Campaigns, you lump everyone in together and turn off those who may have been interested with... ⚔️Using Generic Messaging - Prospects can tell when they’re one of a thousand. Customization goes a looong way—by using real-life examples of Customers who look like them who benefitted from your solution. But many Sales reps write emails that are... ⚔️Focusing on Features, Not Value - When you've been demo'ing solutions for awhile, you can get stuck on features and just feature dump into outbound emails. Buyers literally do not care. They want to know how your product will make a difference in their world. But the Rule of 13 still applies because it's easy to be... ⚔️Neglecting Follow-Up - Too often, reachouts drop off after one or two touchpoints. Persistence (done right) is key. Consistent direct follow-ups PLUS subtle Marketing touches (retargeting ads, webinars, content assets) establish you as an authority and leader in the space because you can't be... ⚔️Underestimating Relationship-Building - Outbound doesn’t have to be transactional. Relationships matter! (And cookies via Sendoso!) Build genuine connections and give before the ask, making the "yes" much easier.
