Despite significant progress, achieving parity for all women in corporate America remains a distant goal—nearly 50 years away. Over the past decade, women in senior leadership have been reshaping the workplace and inspiring future generations. However, the pipeline is still fragile, especially for women of color. At the current pace, it will take 22 years to reach parity for white women and more than twice as long for women of color. Through our research - based programming and actionable insights, the Rutgers Center for Women in Business (CWIB) works to keep qualified and talented women in the workplace longer, and on track for senior leadership, and in doing so, we are creating a workplace that works for everyone.
