🌟🔍 Why should Medical Writing be your first GenAI use case in Biopharma/CRO? The answer lies in the perfect balance of high impact and controlled risk: 1. Structured Content ✍️ Medical writing follows established templates and guidelines, making it ideal for AI implementation. The structured nature means lower risk and higher accuracy compared to other applications. 2. Resource Optimization ⚡ Did you know? Medical writers spend 60% of their time on repetitive documentation tasks. GenAI can dramatically reduce this, allowing writers to focus on scientific interpretation and strategic work. 3. Regulatory Compliance 📋 With proper validation, GenAI tools can help ensure consistency in regulatory submissions while maintaining compliance - a critical win-win for any organization starting their AI journey. 4. Immediate ROI 📈 Quick implementation, measurable outcomes, and clear cost savings make medical writing an ideal proof-of-concept for broader AI initiatives. 🎯 At TrialAssure, LINK AI accelerates the drafting and submission of clinical and regulatory documents, cutting 4+ weeks from the process. Medical writing serves as a cornerstone in life sciences by facilitating the communication, dissemination, and application of scientific knowledge in healthcare and research settings. For decades, this has been a capability that life sciences companies have had to build in-house with highly skilled resources that must perform significant manual work to produce documents worthy of submission to governing bodies such as the FDA. With the use of modern technologies, there are now options for life sciences companies to partner with new technology companies that are performing high fidelity medical writing powered by AI. I had the pleasure of discussing this topic with Anita Modi, Co-Founder and CEO at Peer AI. We spoke on the challenges facing life sciences companies in performing medical writing, the current landscape of service providers who support this function, and how to disrupt the space entirely by performing high fidelity medical writing powered by AI. Please check out Slalom’s 2024 Life Sciences Industry Outlook to see what we think will be the key variables of significant change this year: https://slalom.ws/4b60ptm #medicalwriting #ai #lifesciences #pharma #medicaldevices #slalomproud
