most agencies you hire for your d2c brands are at best a talent combination of button toggler media buyers and plain vanilla creatives who don't have a taste for things. this weak combination will obviously lead to sub par results for your Ecom brand. and this for 2 reasons: the button Toggl-ers don't think strategy and the plain vanilla creatives don't know what can stand out and get attention. th strategy for every brand is different given they stand for different things, sell different products at different prices to different ICP. the same goes for creative, and now you get the gist. So next time you hire an agency for your brand screen them for what they can do different for your brand in terms of strategy and in creative excellence. #d2cbrands #ecommerce

Been thinking a lot about this slide a lot lately Most buyers now have a much smaller shortlist, mostly 1-3 vendors compared to 4-7 before. This is my worst nightmare - not even making it to the shortlist for evaluation. Then, consider that many reports show ~70% of the buying decision is made before a vendor is ever contacted. So shorter lists, with a strong preference towards one. During a recent conversation with Deb Wolf, she summarized this well “Marketing is playing more and more deeper into the buying lifecycle” As we go into the 2025 planning cycle, playing offense by making a solid investment into marketing could truly make companies stand out in their category Especially by creating authentic high quality content and experiences for buyers and consistently highlighting your differentiation.

This Brand is generating 10k orders a day, How ? Ever wondered how to make your brand shine brighter than the competition? It all starts with a competitive analysis. Here’s a simple guide to help you understand and outdo your competitors. Step 1: Customer Reviews Check out the reviews of your competitors' products. See where customers are complaining or what they wish was better. This is your chance to improve those areas and offer something better. Step 2: Communication Style Observe how your competitors are communicating with their customers. Are they engaging, friendly, or informative? Align your brand's communication style to be even better than theirs. Step 3: Offers and Discounts Take a look at the offers and discounts on your competitors' websites. What are they offering that you're not? How can you create more appealing deals for your customers? Step 4: Ad Strategies See what types of ads your competitors are running on Meta and Google. What USPs are they highlighting in their ad communications? Use tools like Meta Ad Library and Google Ads transparency to get insights into their ad strategies. By doing this analysis, you can identify gaps in the market and opportunities to stand out. Remember, it's not about copying others but about doing it better. #CompetitiveAnalysis #BrandStrategy #MarketingTips #StandOutFromTheCrowd #D2C

Your inventory has a direct relationship with your returns on ad spend. How many times have you found a product you want to buy but they didn't have your size or configuration, only to be consistently retargeted, clicking the ad to find it's still out of stock? This affects both customer satisfaction and drives up CAC. It's so important that your buying team aligns with your marketing team so both are aware of the sell through rates so campaigns can either be adjusted in budget or paused and that stock replenishment happens before sell out. Far too often high performing ads that are achieving great sales have popular size or configurations sell out only to then tick away on a high budget with low conversion for too long. Further, a common reaction is to heavily discount those remaining unpopular sizes or configurations, further diminishing margins while not slowing down adspend. Subtle Hint: If you're experiencing this with your business - we have a solution at Profit Peak .

Over the last 3 days, I’ve spoken to 3 eComm brand owners and they were all facing the same issues: ↳ Account managed by a junior ↳ Poor Google Ads performance ↳ Locked-in, long-term contracts ↳ Incorrect targeting due to PMax ↳ Promised the world but fell short ↳ Hefty upfront fees before starting ↳ Underperforming generalist agency If you can relate and you’re experiencing the same… Considered partnering with an agency that offers: ↳ Account managed by the director ↳ Structured accounts performing ↳ Trial period with no contracts ↳ Doesn’t only use PMax ↳ Sets expectation ↳ Zero setup fees ↳ Specialisation If you’re not happy with your current agency: Do what the 3 eCommerce brands have already done. Switch now to set yourself up for the best success in 2024.

When you do email right you can expect massive results. This fashion brand wasn't able to get repeat customers because their messaging wasn't right for their target market. Their business was surviving from META conversions with no retention. With rising ad costs and higher CPA's they knew they needed to dial in their email. That's where we came in... Within 3 months we've helped increase email revenue from 12% to 35% All while ad spend has been reduced... Meaning that: - Profits are higher - More repeat customers - The brand is in a healthier position to scale

Stop wasting your energy with your D2C Brand. Looking for ads that work? Focus on these 5 key points: • Understand what matters and what doesn't, then focus on what matters. • Market > Offer > Persuasion (Alex Hormozi). • In your ads, what matters most is catching and retaining users attention, to drive them to your offer. • The biggest conversion rate killer is a lack of trust. • Stop worrying about whether it should be 15 or 30sec video, long or short ad copy, demonstration vs. unboxing, or whatever. If unsure, try and test everything. Your effort should be focused on picking the right market, crafting a relevant & irresistible offer.. and take massive action.
