My father turned 75 early this month and is spending a fortnight with me. Baba spent 34 years with a single organization. He is steeped in nostalgia with anecdotes encompassing his career. He has lost around a dozen colleagues in the last two years and them, he remembers fondly ever so often. As we spent time together and I again listened to the stories I had heard several times before, I wondered if we will ever develop the ability to make genuine connections that go beyond speed-dating akin networking?
