We’ve scaled brands above 3CR in the last 21 days. But this is a failure post. Started working with a brand this October. They wanted to scale fast as it’s their prime time. Their products are meant for Diwali and weddings. That’s what we did. Revenue was at an all time high after 15 days. Yet, the clients paused the campaigns faster than a formula 1 driver stopping his car at a pit stop to change tires. Why? The ROAS got dropped. They wanted to scale like crazy without a single digital hit back on roas. All in 15 days!! Though every brand is free to decide their best bets. I always suggest… …if you want to scale, you may see a lower roas for some time. Because you’re reaching out to a newer audience. It takes time! And if you’re scaling for the first time. Be ready for some roas trimming. A simple example to end this: You go to the gym. Right after entering, you start 150 kg deadlifts. It’s a shortcut to injury. No exercise will help without a warmup. Scaling works this way only. . . . . . P.S. Your thoughts? Do you think it’s possible to scale a new brand in 15 days? . . . . #ecommerceagency #performancemarketing #metaads
Glad you posted this. More marketers need to post this. As marketing is about testing a lot of things which leads to failure. But with failure comes data. And data improves efficiency. I hope they understand that increasing spends doesn't linearly increase roas (that too in 15 days) 🙌 Garvit Arora
Quick wins are tempting, but sustainable growth takes time and strategy.
No way! Scaling up requires atleast 30-45 days to test. Scaling up is like baking a cake: 30-45 days of testing to make sure it rises just right. And meta ads? 80% mad scientist(testing), 20% rockstar (scaling up)
Wow, so they wanted 2X profits in 15 days lol. Its common sense that ROAS will drop in the short run when you scale. Garvit Arora
No matter which platform you're testing out until you allow the time to take high peak companies will always end up making nothing!
Valid point
People need to understand that some days are good and some are bad and getting a good ROI takes time and strategies to put in place!
It takes time to scale up! 15 days is way short. 30-45 days is indeed a good amount of time. Unfortunately, I've worked with such clients and it was really a soul sucking experience for me.
Perfectly said! While scaling, we may see a drop in results, but we need to give it some time

1moScaling a brand in just 15 days can indeed be tempting, but your analogy with the gym and warmups is spot on. Rome wasn't built in a day, and neither are successful brands. Patience and strategic growth are key in the e-commerce world.
