Well said! Smart robots significantly impact manufacturing workers by boosting efficiency and productivity through the automation of repetitive and precise tasks. While this can lead to job displacement as robots take over manual roles, it also shifts job responsibilities towards overseeing and maintaining robots, necessitating new skills and training. Additionally, robots enhance safety by handling hazardous tasks and operate continuously, improving production output. The quality of products can also improve due to robots' consistent performance. As a result, there is a growing need for reskilling and upskilling the workforce to manage more advanced tasks, while collaborative robots (cobots) offer opportunities for humans and robots to work together, combining human creativity with robotic precision.
