Recently, Zomato promoted four delivery partners to the position of product manager, breaking recruitment conventions to diversify its core team. The future of any organization hinges on the leaders you choose today. But making the right choice isn't always straightforward. Finding the next generation of leaders within your ranks shouldn't be a guessing game, but a well thought of, data backed, conscious decision. The Employee Promotion Prediction Analytics project aims to address this challenge by leveraging advanced data analysis and machine learning techniques. By exploring and analyzing employee data, the project seeks to uncover key factors that influence promotion decisions and develop predictive models that can accurately forecast which employees are most likely to be promoted. This project, turns data into insights, ensuring that no potential leader goes unnoticed. The project involves data preprocessing, including handling missing values and preparing the dataset, followed by exploratory data analysis (EDA) to understand feature distributions and relationships. Predictive models like Decision Trees and XGBoost were built and finetuned to forecast employee promotions. 🌟 Diving into Zomato Data: A Journey of Insights and Exploration! 🌟 Analyzing a dataset with 17 features from Zomato was not just a project—it was an adventure into the world of food, trends, and customer preferences. My objective was clear: to uncover patterns and insights that could reveal what drives success in the restaurant industry. 📌 Here’s what I did: Explored fascinating metrics like average cost for two, cuisines, ratings, and geographic locations. Mapped urban dining trends, discovering that 80% of restaurants are concentrated in metropolitan areas, with 45% of premium venues in cities like Delhi and Mumbai. Analyzed customer behavior, finding that restaurants offering online delivery scored 60% higher ratings. Connected pricing with satisfaction, noting that high-end restaurants in the 4-5 price range averaged an impressive 4.7 rating! The thrill of turning raw numbers into meaningful insights was incredible! This journey taught me the value of curiosity, analytical tools, and perseverance. 🙏 Thank you to everyone who inspired and supported me during this project—your guidance and encouragement mean the world! If you share a passion for data or love unraveling stories hidden in numbers, let’s connect and exchange ideas! 🚀 Innomatics Research Labs

Hello, Linkedin connections!❤️ I'm excited to share that my team and I recently completed an in-depth research project titled "A Comparative Study of Swiggy and Zomato." We presented our findings to our peers, and the experience has been incredibly rewarding. Data Collection: We collected data through Google Forms, distributing questionnaires to customers of Swiggy and Zomato. Our survey received 75 responses. Tools Used: For data analysis, we utilized SPSS software and Excel. Key Findings: -Zomato is preferred by many customers due to its pricing strategy and delivery time. - Swiggy and Zomato are both average when it comes to offers, indicating a need for improvement in this area. Insights Gained: This research provided valuable insights into the strategies these platforms use to attract customers. It also enhanced my understanding of the research process and teamwork. Collaborating with my teammates made the experience enjoyable and productive. A big thank you to my fellow team members for their hard work and dedication. Together, we successfully completed this research and had a great time doing it. #snsinstitutions #snsdesignthinkers #designthinking

Few days back, I completed 2191 days(6 years) at zomato! As I look back on the past year, I'm excited to share some of the impactful projects I've had the privilege to work on: Integration of Third-Party Cash Service Aggregator Relicollect: Successfully led the integration of relicollect from product design to seamless execution. This project involved close collaboration with Legal, GRC, and taxation teams to ensure compliance and mitigate risks. This feature has helped our delivery partners to deposit the cash collected by customers directly to us. Automation of delivery partners ratecards: This task has helped in saving nearly a day bandwidth of our city teams to create a ratecard and manually upload them via a dashboard. We utilised Python (manily modules like math, pandas) and created a model that will create or predict a ratecard given on heuristic data + external factors and expose the data to services using apache kafka Development of Gig Booking Recommendations: Designed and implemented a system for providing gig booking recommendations to delivery partners based on their earning and login patterns. This initiative aimed to reduce churn, optimize onboarding costs, and enhance delivery partners' earning potential by offering personalized booking options. Building this recommendation system demonstrated my commitment to improving operational efficiency and delivering value to our partners. Here's to many more years of innovation and success! 🚀
