Recently, Zomato promoted four delivery partners to the position of product manager, breaking recruitment conventions to diversify its core team. The future of any organization hinges on the leaders you choose today. But making the right choice isn't always straightforward. Finding the next generation of leaders within your ranks shouldn't be a guessing game, but a well thought of, data backed, conscious decision. The Employee Promotion Prediction Analytics project aims to address this challenge by leveraging advanced data analysis and machine learning techniques. By exploring and analyzing employee data, the project seeks to uncover key factors that influence promotion decisions and develop predictive models that can accurately forecast which employees are most likely to be promoted. This project, turns data into insights, ensuring that no potential leader goes unnoticed. The project involves data preprocessing, including handling missing values and preparing the dataset, followed by exploratory data analysis (EDA) to understand feature distributions and relationships. Predictive models like Decision Trees and XGBoost were built and finetuned to forecast employee promotions.
