Why do I talk about mental health so much? Because it matters. Let me break it down: - Growing up, I faced my own battles with mental health that felt like an endless rabbit hole. And sometimes I still do. - I’ve always been sensitive—someone who was often told I was "too nice", “too fragile” or "too soft." - Not having answers or any control to my racing thoughts made me feel like I was losing my mind. But here’s the thing: studying my brain and understanding my mind was the key that helped me change my life’s narrative. That’s why, since stepping into the corporate world, I’ve made it my mission to plant seeds—every single day. The corporate world—a place often known for being cold and unkind. Now, I find myself having deep and meaningful conversations with professional athletes, CEOs, presidents, and truly incredible people in this industry. And sometimes, I still pause and think, “This is my reality?” The more I connect with others, the clearer it becomes: these conversations are necessary. They remind me how even those who "have it all" can suffer in silence. Especially during these times. To some it can be the days one looks forward to the most but to others it can be the loneliest ones. Be kind. - A year ago, I graduated from Florida International University with a BA in psychology and a concentration in neurobiology. If you had told my 2020 self that at 22 years old I’d be working at FIFA she would have laughed in disbelief. But here I am, proof that healing and growth are possible. Proof that age is never a dealbreaker. Proof that planting those little seeds every day can lead to something bigger than you ever imagined. And most importantly, proof that we all have a voice worth sharing. #mentalhealthmatters
