I help women become execs and thrive in leadership - Former Exec | Certified Coach | Forbes.com contributor
6 years ago I was: - miserable at work and at home - frustrated in my Director role and ready to give up - in an abusive relationship that was about to get much worse - drinking wine every single night to cope 5 years later... here's what changed: - I successfully became a VP, then an EVP - I left my terrible relationship and bought a house on my own - I met the love of my life, and had a beautiful baby - I focus on healthy living and rarely drink at all - I left the corporate world and built a thriving coaching business A lot can change in 5 years If you're not happy where you are, don't give up. Your story isn't over yet. You have no idea where you'll be 5 years from now when you look back. 🌟 Sneak Peek: How We Rise and Thrive 🌟 As women in leadership, we know the journey can be filled with triumphs and challenges. It's not just about breaking glass ceilings; it's about thriving in spaces where you're often doubted or misunderstood. I'm thrilled to share that we’ve been working on a book project, How We Rise and Thrive, a collaboration among incredible women leaders. This book is a testament to resilience, growth, and the lessons that shape our leadership journeys. One of the key lessons I’ve contributed to this project is about vulnerability and seeking help. Leadership can be lonely, and for women, the challenges often run deeper. Yes, more women are rising to leadership positions, but some patterns remain unchanged—there’s still resistance, control, and, at times, abuse from those uncomfortable with women’s progress. Through my chapter, I share why it’s crucial to speak up and seek support. Silence only empowers the enemy. Vulnerability is not a weakness—it’s a powerful tool for connection, healing, and growth. This book is for anyone who dares to rise and thrive, no matter the odds. I can't wait for you to read it, reflect on the stories, and be inspired to take your next bold step! 📖 What does “thriving in leadership” mean to you? I’d love to hear your thoughts in the comments! One of the many things that fascinate me are stories of people, especially stories of women in leadership. No matter how many more women make it to the top, we’ll always need more of these. Every experience, so unique; Every challenge, so specific and Every approach, so insightful, these stories help me in so many ways, to learn, navigate and improve on my own qualities as a leader. Whether it’s “Becoming” by Michele Obama, “Lean In” by Sheryl Sandberg, “My Life in Full” by Indra Nooyi or this book I picked up at the airport on my way to London- “Good Power” by Ginni Rometty, former Chairman & CEO, IBM, each of them have been textbooks that push me to overcome any limiting beliefs. I’m currently in the middle of “Good Power” & Ginni’s journey, her ability to build resilience in the face of life’s adversities, her relentlessness and drive to continuously learn, her candour about mistakes & lessons, have helped me a great deal in charting my own journey. Most importantly, it has normalised the fact that I am always going to be a “WiP Leader”, we all are. We are going to make mistakes, learn new things, adapt, stagnate and find newer challenges to conquer. I’ve always said that Writing has been my safe space. Seems like reading stories about Women in Leadership could be another addition✨ #womeninleadership

It’s interesting to see how men and women often view power differently. Many people, especially women, have experienced power in a way that makes them want to reject it entirely. My guest on this week's CEO on the Go is Kemi Nekvapil, author of the book "POWER: A Woman's Guide to Living & Leading Without Apology." Kemi has a fascinating perspective on redefining what power really means. She shares her inspiring personal story that shaped her understanding of power and her determination to redefine it. In our conversation, Kemi shares insights about: ✅ How men and women often view power differently due to societal conditioning ✅ Obstacles that prevent women from claiming their power ✅ Specific advice for men to best support women in leadership ✅ Principles for living and leading without apology If you've ever felt powerless, or know someone like Kemi who has overcome that mindset, you'll appreciate her passionate viewpoint. Her message is empowering not just for women, but for anyone looking to step more fully into their leadership presence. 🌟A FEW EXCITING ANNOUNCEMENTS! 🌟 I am super proud and excited to share that I have joined Women Leaders Connect as a founding member, and part of their Advisory Council! This incredible opportunity allows me to be a part of a community that celebrates female leadership and offers exclusive programs and events tailored for women leaders. Being involved in this initiative as a woman is truly meaningful to me, as it not only provides valuable resources but also allows me to contribute to a movement that addresses the unique challenges we face in business and leadership. I will also be co-leading a session on December 12th alongside Leigh B., CEO & Founder of Bold Industries Group. Together, we will be discussing how women can find the balance and mindset necessary to navigate the demands of meeting their own needs, as well as those of others. Additionally, I am excited to share that my upcoming book, The ReSoul Revolution™, will be making its grand debut later this year. This book is meant to be a beacon for those seeking to harmonize the brain and soul, ushering in a personal revolution to transform from the inside out. This book masterfully intertwines transformative principles rooted in neuroscience, enriching them with powerful micro-rituals crafted to ReSoul and ReSurge. The book offers empowering and transformative strategies for: Reshaping our thought patterns and belief systems to propel us forward, redefining the purpose of our lives, and embracing our freedom to pave the way to BE, live, and lead with soul, intention, and consciousness. #TheReSoulRevolution #FacetsCoaching #Transformation #Womeninleadership #WomenLeadersConnect and #ChiefExecutiveGroup

As women leaders, are we truly aware of the strength we wield in our authenticity? Let's pause momentarily and consider: #Authenticity isn't just a quality we possess; 🌟it's a #superpower waiting to be fully recognised. 🌟it's the raw, unfiltered essence of who we are—the sum of our experiences, values, and aspirations. 🌟it sets us apart in a sea of sameness, empowering us to lead with purpose and impact. As women, we've been conditioned to believe that success lies in fitting into predefined moulds, conforming to societal norms, and suppressing our authentic selves. What if I told you that our greatest strength lies in breaking free from those moulds? What if authenticity is the key to unlocking our true potential as leaders? 𝑬𝒎𝒃𝒓𝒂𝒄𝒆 𝒚𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝒂𝒖𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒊𝒄𝒊𝒕𝒚 𝒖𝒏𝒂𝒑𝒐𝒍𝒐𝒈𝒆𝒕𝒊𝒄𝒂𝒍𝒍𝒚. Let us celebrate the uniqueness of our voices, perspectives and stories, knowing that they hold the power to inspire, influence, and ignite change. Join me on a journey of discovery and empowerment. Let's harness the strength of our authenticity to scale new heights of success and impact together. 🌟 Let's rewrite the rules and redefine what it means to lead authentically.
