Why has Ayurveda withstood the test of time? The healing system is aligned to Nature and the body's rhythms & wisdom. It has been keeping up with the times, innovating & adapting. Keeping in line with this, I had an opportunity to address an audience of Ayurveda Researchers, Doctors and Students, sharing insights on how AI can enhance Ayurvedic diagnosis, treatment, and research. It was also enriching to hear the other speakers on the path breaking work being done by the community and startups in this space. Key takeaways: AI can significantly enhance the personalization and effectiveness of Ayurvedic treatments. AI-powered tools can assist in diagnosis, treatment planning, and drug discovery. Ethical considerations and data privacy are crucial for responsible AI integration in Ayurveda. I'm excited and waiting to see how AI will shape the future of Ayurveda and contribute to better health outcomes in the days to come. #AI #Ayurveda #Healthcare #Technology #Innovation #AIinHealthcare

How does Ayurveda identify medicinal plants that impact the immune system? In a recent conversation with Dr. Shakti Upadhyay, we explored how Ayurveda is based on two key principles: Pancha Bhuta (five elements: earth, water, fire, air, and space) and Tridosha (Vata, Pitta, Kapha). These concepts are deeply metaphorical, representing complex bodily functions that are often misunderstood in modern science. For over 30 years, modern researchers have been investigating Ayurvedic medicinal plants to understand their effects on the immune system. Initially challenging, this journey revealed the depth and complexity of Ayurveda’s knowledge, far surpassing what we commonly see in Western medicine. Curious about Ayurveda’s vast wisdom? 🚀 Proud to share that Neptune Turtles, under my leadership, successfully participated in HackMole 5.0 held from Feb 22, 2024, to Feb 23, 2024, at NIT Jalandhar. Our project, DR. AYURVEDA, embodies the fusion of traditional wisdom and cutting-edge technology, providing a seamless solution for those seeking a balanced and healthy lifestyle. 🧠 Our innovative platform begins with a comprehensive questionnaire designed by Neptune Turtles, helping users identify the specific dosha (Vata, Pitta, Kapha) they may be imbalanced in. Once the user's dosha is determined, they interact with an AI chatbot, developed by me, which offers personalized lifestyle suggestions based on Ayurvedic principles. This holistic approach not only fosters well-being but also promotes productivity and a balanced life. 💡 The vision behind DR. AYURVEDA was to make ancient Ayurvedic knowledge accessible and actionable through technology. By leveraging AI, we provide users with real-time, tailored advice that integrates seamlessly into their daily routines. This project is a testament to the power of collaborative innovation and the potential of AI to enhance traditional practices. 🔗 Explore our project on GitHub: [**Dr. Ayurveda**](https://lnkd.in/gY2r3GrM) 💬 We believe that health is a key driver of success, and DR. I talk to almost 5-7 Ayurveda startup founders weekly, 3 moments that made me realise Ayurveda industry is finally evolving, 1) Content is now about providing value, not just sales pitches. 'We need content to be authentic and sage like! ' 'No matter the customer buys something or not, he must get some value! ' 2) Doctor expertise matters! Startups now seek doctors to address product queries, not laymen. Our team of Ayurveda Doctors at MedScribe are now an active part of customer chat support teams of leading Ayurveda startups. 3) Raw material purity, authenticity and manufacturing are now paramount in product and formulation development, Founders don't just ask for random formulations now! The Ayurveda industry is undergoing a transformation, for the good, and at MedScribe , we're privileged to be part of this dynamic shift! What do you think needs to be changed in Ayurveda industry? #Ayurveda #ayurvedacontent #ayurvedaproductformulation

🌿There’s a common myth that Ayurveda is slow-acting. But did you know that many modern medicines, like quinine for malaria, actually have roots in plant-based remedies? Our founder shares his thoughts on this—check it out. #innovation #digitalmarketing #creativity #health #wellness #startups #careers #marketing #socialmedia #socialnetworking #branding
Is Ayurveda Really Slow-Acting? One of the biggest myths I’ve come across about Ayurveda is that it’s slow-acting. But here’s the thing—Ayurveda isn’t just about long-term solutions. It can also give quick, symptomatic relief, just like any other form of medicine. A lot of people don’t realize that many modern medicines actually trace their origins back to plant-based remedies. Quinine, for example, a medication still used to treat malaria, was first isolated from the bark of the cinchona tree in 1820. That’s straight out of nature, and it worked. In fact, many of today’s allopathic treatments started with natural ingredients, which were tested, studied, and refined. Ayurveda has that same depth. It’s not some untested, unscientific system—it is backed by clinical trials and studies. You can question it, test it, even be skeptical. But it’s hard to write off something that has been around for centuries and is still relevant today. #Ayurveda #Wellness #entrepreneurship #startups

Symptomatic Treatment: Turning Off the Fire Alarm Symptomatic treatment is often likened to turning off a fire alarm without addressing the fire itself. It focuses on relieving immediate discomfort, like pain or inflammation, but doesn’t necessarily tackle the underlying cause of the issue. While this approach offers temporary relief, just like silencing the alarm, the root cause—the fire—continues to burn, potentially worsening over time. True healing comes from not just managing symptoms but addressing the source of the problem, ensuring both relief and long-term health. #healthandwellness #wellness #healthcare #ayurveda #yoga #medicaltreatment
In a recent talk with Dr. Shakti Upadhyay, we uncovered a key difference between modern medicine and Ayurveda. While modern treatments often focus on quick fixes like lowering blood pressure or blood sugar, they usually address only the symptoms—not the root cause. Why does your body develop these issues in the first place? That’s the real question. Ayurveda takes a deeper approach by identifying the underlying imbalances that lead to chronic conditions. Instead of just managing symptoms, it works to restore the body’s natural harmony—so that those symptoms disappear for good. Modern medicine is amazing for emergencies, but for lasting wellness, digging into the root cause is essential. Curious about how Ayurveda can help you live a healthier life?
