Multi-cluster and service meshes are popular topics in the Kubernetes community. In his lightning talk "Best Practices on Setting up Multi Cluster Service Mesh in AWS," Victor Yang will break down the challenges of setting up a multi-cluster mesh. https://buff.ly/3UwVBWA
Lee is already on issue 11 of his newsletter.
I’m happy to have a little feature on this issue. Over the years, Leighton has gone from a few AWS accounts to several AWS accounts.
I didn’t think about how we managed domains properly, and I constantly desired centralising domains in one account and delegating them out from there, but this is an incredibly easy job to put off.
Recently, though I invested some time in it, being a technologist and more at home with the AWS SDK vs the AWS CLI, this involved scripting, and those scripts evolved into a CLI that we then used to move quite a few Hosted Zones and records around.
In the end, we got a much neater and scalable setup for our domain management. Projects and products experienced no downtime, and the community will get an open-source CLI should they want or need to do the same.
Part one of the article covers the code you need to do something similar. Part two is coming soon and will show how we engineered that into a CLI.
The CLI should be open-sourced very quickly, so watch this space.

Greetings All... 💫
#day19 of my #30dayscloudchallenge hosted by AWS Cloud Club St.Joseph's Group of Institutions .
💫 As a part of my day19 challenge I have created a small demo on building uploading data into DynamoDB using Lambda and API Gateway.
Here is the step by step description of my POC:
Step-1: Login to your AWS Console
Step-2: Go to IAM dashboard and create a role with full access to DynamoDB.
Step-3: Create a Lambda Function
Step-4: Deploy the code and create a test event to test the lambda function and deploy the code.
Step-5: Now create a rest API and create the necessary resources(i.e. GET) and deploy
Step-6: Now go to the terminal and type the command for uploading the data to DynamoDB.

Excited to co-present with Arnd Hannemann on "Harness the power of Karpenter to scale, optimize & upgrade Kubernetes" at the AWS Summit Berlin on 15th and 16th May, 16:15-17:00 in Breakout Room 5.
In this session, we'll dive into Karpenter, an open-source Kubernetes cluster autoscaler, and explore how it can supercharge your application availability and cluster efficiency. 🔥
