Today, we come together to celebrate generosity and the power of community. At the True North Foundation, we are on a mission to support veterans, military families, and nonprofit organizations that make a lasting impact across the country. Every year, over 200,000 service members transition to civilian life, often facing challenges like finding purpose, employment, and community. Through our four pillars—education, employment, adaptive sports, and rehabilitation—we work tirelessly to bridge these gaps and empower our nation’s heroes. Your donation today directly supports: ✅ Scholarships for military children through partners like the Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation. ✅ Transitional support for veterans and military spouses through organizations like Dog Tag Inc. ✅ Adaptive sports programs and rehabilitation services for injured veterans, such as those provided by Stay In Step and Merging Vets and Players. When you give to the True North Foundation, you’re not just donating—you’re investing in the futures of those who have served. Together, we can ensure veterans and their families thrive beyond their time in uniform. 💙 Donate Today: https://lnkd.in/g74jC6gm #GivingTuesday #VeteranSupport #Nonprofit #MakeADifference #TrueNorthFoundation #LeadingByDoing #Donate #SupportOurHeroes

What is the best way to thank and appreciate military families today, on Veteran's Day...? 1. Say thank you for your service 2. Help them build skills to get fulfilling jobs and succeed at them 3. Help with improving resumes 4. Create mock interviews 5. Offer internships 6. Consider for jobs 7. Provide free training / certification 8. Volunteer for an organization that supports military families 9. Donate to such organizations If you choose number 9, please consider our non-profit Agile For Patriots. We are an all-volunteer non-profit and are preparing for our 11th cohort in 2025 and could use your help. Some ways in which your donation can help our next cohort... 1. Help us pay for Amazon Web Services (AWS) so our cohort can use Scrum to build their cohort web and demonstrate their ability to apply theory to practice to hiring managers 2. Help us pay for Atlassian bill so our cohort can get hands on practice with Confluence and Jira in preparation for interviews and their next job 3. Help us pay our Zoom bill so our cohort can use it for their Sprints 4. Help us pay our Calendly bill so we can schedule interviews with applicants No donation is too small. Thanks for considering our request. Thanks to all military families for everything you have done and do every single day to keep all the families in our country free and safe.
As we celebrate and honor Veterans Day, let's remember the sacrifices made by our veterans and their families. On this #GivingTuesday, we invite you to help give our service members in transition an incredible gift. One of the major challenges service members, military spouses, and veterans face as they begin their new chapters as civilians is not having the tools to figure out who they are outside their uniform, what they want to do, and even what is going to make them happy. Those aren't questions service members tend to ask themselves while still actively involved in service to our nation. They're honorably focused on the "We." But to succeed as civilians, they need to learn how to be a "me" as well. Today, as we rally with others dedicated to supporting our military community, we've set a lofty goal of $5000, for our flagship program "Changing Focus: Moving From We to Me." Your support will make it possible for transitioning service members, veterans, and their spouses to participate in the workshop at zero cost. LTI is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, woman and veteran-owned, organization, with a team of veterans and military spouses focused on walking beside those making pivots in their lives beyond the uniform. Link to give in the comments. Your gifts are 100% tax-deductible. Please, give generously. Thank you. #zigszagsandpivots #everylittlebithelps #leadertransitioninstitute #donations NOTE: This message should not be construed as a request for a donation or contribution, nor is it intended as a request for donation or contribution, for anyone or any organization in Illinois, Maine, Michigan, the District of Columbia, or outside of the United States.

🌟 Giving Tuesday is here! 🌟 Today, as I reflect on how proud I am to have recently joined Workshops for Warriors (WFW), I am reminded of Edith Eger’s wise words: "You can live to avenge the past, or you can live to enrich the present." ("The Choice") Joining WFW has allowed me to embrace the latter, enriching not only my life but also the lives of those we serve. As someone who has faced numerous challenges, from relocating to the U.S. to raising my wonderful children alone, I've realized the irreplaceable value of supportive, caring, and trustworthy people. At WFW, we extend this same support to our veterans and transitioning service members, empowering them beyond professional training. We care for each individual, addressing not just career skills but also personal and familial challenges. Every day, I witness transformations that go beyond new careers in advanced manufacturing. It’s about cultivating a community where compassion is an action—whether it’s discussing personal struggles or literally helping to start a car stranded in the middle of nowhere. These acts of kindness, often considered minor, are the threads that weave our safety net. This Giving Tuesday, let's celebrate and spread the ethos of WFW. Join us in making a profound difference, enriching the present and crafting a hopeful future. #GivingTuesday #WorkshopsForWarriors #ProudToBePartOfTheMission #EmpoweringVeterans #BuildingFutures #VeteranSupport #EndOfYearGiving #MakeADifference #GiveBack

Day 10 of Giving - Words With Warriors Events It takes unparalleled dedication and determination to serve and protect our country. At the Special Forces Charitable Trust, we are committed to supporting these extraordinary service members as they pursue their PURPOSE—whether continuing their military careers or transitioning to civilian life. Our Words with Warriors events are a vital part of that mission, bringing service members together—both active duty and transitioned—for peer-to-peer connection and support. One of these impactful events, Boots To Business, is designed to provide valuable resources and connections for soldiers preparing to transition out of the military. Did you know that this transition can be one of the most challenging phases of a service member's life, affecting not just them but also their families? Boots To Business offers an evening of networking, connecting transitioning service members with resources and hiring companies to help pave the way for their next chapter. Your contribution—whether as a donor, sponsor, or even as a participating hiring company—can make a profound difference in the lives of these brave individuals. https://lnkd.in/eysq-TAN This holiday season, let’s come together to show our gratitude and support for those who have sacrificed so much for our freedom. #sfcharitabletrust #GiveBack #donatenow #12DaysofGiving #supportnonprofits #sfctgiving

Since 2014, the Come Back Alive Foundation, dedicated to competent assistance to the army, has raised more than 11 billion hryvnias, or about 341 million dollars. In 2022, it also became the first Ukrainian charity foundation licensed to purchase military and dual-use goods.
