Every child deserves the opportunity to learn, grow, and thrive in a high-quality early education environment. The Federal Government’s recent announcement to provide at least three days per week of high-quality early learning and care for every child – and more for children who need it, is a positive step towards making this a reality for all Australian children. Coupled with the recent 10% wage increase for early childhood educators, these changes underscore a growing recognition of the importance of early education. By supporting both children and the dedicated professionals who nurture their growth, we are building a brighter future for all. At G8 Education Ltd, we’re proud to see progress that champions accessibility, supports educators, and strengthens our commitment to ensuring every child has the chance to thrive.

👶🏼✏️🎓At the heart of early education is a shared commitment to nurturing and educating young minds. Our School Directors and District leaders are passionate about their work and dedicated to making a difference. However, passion alone is not enough. We must equip them with the tools and support they need to succeed. By investing in our leaders, we are investing in the future of early education. Together, we can all overcome the challenges facing our industry and continue to provide the high-quality care and education that every child deserves. There are plenty of children to go around, but we must get gritty in our efforts to ensure our child care businesses stabilize. 💲Expenses are outrageous, labor is more challenging, the knowledge we once had at every level has escaped. What can we do? We dig in the details, we get creative, we advocate at the state and federal levels! With the right strategies in place, our leaders will not only meet these challenges but will also thrive, ensuring that our children receive the best start in life. Education leaders have been challenged with a lack of funding and resources for years and yet, they always rise to the occasion. They are tired, yet, they always rise. There’s so much work to do and I’m-committed at Child Development Schools, to supporting our teams and making a difference. It’s hard work, yet we have the best team on earth to do it well! 👏🏼💪🏾

Over time, many have downplayed early childhood education with the thought of the process being a usual phase of learning, but the fact remains that this phase is the main building block and pillar, in which the child can grow and be nurtured at the right time of learning. Early childhood education is not just a foundation phase, but about investing greatly in those kids, so that they can mount boldly and inquisitively into the next phase. #mciinitiative #ece #qualitylearning #earlychildhoodlearning

Statistics show that the highest predictor of lifelong success is early intervention and education. While early childhood education is crucial to positive lifelong development, where should it occur? Early childhood education is delivered in a wide range of environments and is often provided by school districts for students in their district. Sometimes those preschool rooms are part of a neighborhood elementary school, and sometimes students are served in a center dedicated to early learning curriculum. These are both school district run programs, so there should be no differences, right? Nope! In fact, there are several differences between programs within a neighborhood school versus early learning centers, serving students five and under.
