Teaching doesn’t always guarantee learning. It’s easy to focus on delivering training to employees, but are they truly learning and engaging with the material? Or is it just another tick-box exercise, like completing a compliance SCORM course? The future of learning is all about providing employees with the right knowledge, at the right time, in a way that resonates with each individual. It’s about crafting a learning experience that mirrors what we expect outside of work—engaging, interactive, and seamless. When learning feels this effortless, employees cultivate a growth mindset, absorb new information, and gain the insights they need to excel in their roles. We’re all in for this approach to learning. How about you? Come along to the Fuse4 launch webinar on Dec 11th to understand how you can encourage this way of learning: https://lnkd.in/eAuVThtQ #learning #learninganddevelopment #lxp #lms

Imagine this…. You have 2 groups of employees - those who are motivated to take part in training and development programmes, and those who aren’t, but have more room to grow. Which group is the best option for further training? 🤔 While it might seem best to further upskill the first group, it’s important not to select people purely on the basis of their motivation to learn. This will lead to skills gaps in your team. Think of it this way: if you have a bottle neck, improving the areas that have no impact on that area won’t solve the problem. You need to help where the challenges are. An approach you can take here is to have a baseline that everyone needs to engage with, according to their department. You can also have refreshers on this content at regular intervals. Additionally, there can be a fund for each employee where they can expand their learning in specific areas that interest them. This means that all bases are being covered, while still holding space for self-directed learning. Q. What approach do you take to addressing or preventing learning gaps in your organisation? Lemme know in the comments below 👇 #hx #enterprisetraining #workshops

As a professional L&D advisor, it's crucial to adhere to proper learning principles when designing a learning program to align with organizational goals. Key principles I utilize include ADDIE and the Inclusion Principle for program design, the Kirkpatrick Model to measure learning effectiveness, and the CCAF Model and Bloom's Taxonomy for assessment design. #LearningandDevelopment #Training #OrganizationalGoals

Are you evaluating the true impact of your learning programs? 🤔 Whether you’re new to Learning & Development or a seasoned pro, mastering evaluation models is essential for assessing the success of your L&D initiatives. Kaufman’s Five Levels of Evaluation is a powerful tool that builds on Kirkpatrick’s model but goes deeper, focusing not just on individual learners but also on organizational and societal impact. 📈 Here is a snapshot of what each level explores: 1️⃣ Input: Are we using learning resources wisely? 2️⃣ Process: Was the training delivered effectively? 3️⃣ Acquisition: Did learners absorb the right knowledge? 4️⃣ Application: Are those skills being used on the job? 5️⃣ Societal Impact: How does the training benefit the organization and even society as a whole? Unlike Kirkpatrick’s model, which ends at Results, Kaufman adds a broader societal level, pushing L&D to think about the bigger picture. 💭🌍 Understanding both models allows you to evaluate not only the learning itself but also how it contributes to wider success. How do YOU measure the effectiveness of your training? What are some of the difficulties you have with learning evaluation? Share your thoughts below! 👇 #LearningAndDevelopment #KaufmanEvaluation #TheLnDAcademy #TrainingEvaluation
