How sweet it must be to get to a stage in one’s professional career, where you get paid a lot of money just to be YOURSELF….. to bring your version of originality , flair and authenticity. So why does this happen to some people and not others and also crucially at what stage does this happen …..in my opinion, it is difficult to accurately predict the timeline because we are all so uniquely diverse with different points of growth and perspectives but I do believe that is connected to a deeper level of self awareness and desire for autonomy. First things first, you can’t attract opportunities if people are unaware of your expertise. It’s the hinge that squeaks that gets the most grease after all. Additionally you may find out that these highly sought after individuals are well attuned to their value proposition ; they know their unique talents and skills and how to use it. It goes without saying your sense of self worth and confidence has to be very high and most importantly be unapologetic about your character flaws. Snoop Dogg went from gangsta rap in the 90s to being everyone’s favourite wholesome hip hop grandpa at the Paris 2024 Olympics. He probably has no regrets about either stage in his life as both have played a part in his character development. Thanks 🙏🏿 Snoop for reminding us all. Transformation and evolution is a process. Trust your journey. Okay so I’ve decided to try AGAIN to buy a legitimate copy of Pokémon Emerald for Christmas. The $30 version I bought years ago ended up being fake. In order to buy a legitimate copy, I need to spend between $100-$300 and there’s at 50% chance that the game will be fake. I regret I didn’t pick the game up when it came out, but as someone who transitioned from Gen 1 to Gen 2 to Gen 3, I thought I was done with Pokémon. Now I’m on a quest to get every physical version of every English game possible, unless they’re over $100. If you did manage to buy a legitimate copy of Pokémon Emerald, how much did you pay? Was it worth it? Where did you buy it? Let’s hope the version I buy this time isn’t fake. How did I know it was fake, by the way? I hooked it up to Pokémon XD: Gale of Darkness on my GameCube and it wouldn’t let me trade Pokémon to the game. Correction: You need to spend OVER $300 on certain websites to get a legitimate copy.
