In this role, you’ll support the creation to deliver high-impact marketing materials that wow our clients and their audiences. You’ll work closely with our talented team to bring innovative ideas to life. What You'll Do Create & Collaborate: Partner with our team on design, copywriting, content creation, and image selection. Manage & Update: Keep presentations, websites, comms docs, sales materials, and ads fresh and on-brand. Innovate & Execute: Tackle daily ad hoc tasks with creativity and precision in a flexible, remote, part-time gig. Client Interaction: Engage with clients, understand their needs and deliver exceptional results. What You Bring Education: Background in Marketing, Design, Communications, or related a plus. Experience: Up to 5 years in consulting, marketing, design, or advertising preferred. This is not a senior position. Proficiency: Design Tools: Proficient in design tools, Adobe Creative Suite proficiency is ideal (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign). Content Management Systems: Experience with WordPress and similar platforms. Marketing Platforms: Familiarity with HubSpot and other CRMs. Project Management: Manage multiple projects using tools like Clickup, Asana, or Monday.com. Visual Design: Figma or Sketch skilla for creating mockups and prototypes. Social Media Management: Manage campaigns on social platforms. General Software: Proficiency in Google Workspace (Slides, Docs, Drive). Understanding: Fundamental marketing strategies and branding principles, website and multi-channel campaign construction. Email agencies are easily one of the most efficient hires for an ecom store. Having a (good) in house email team requires: - A copywriter - A designer - A strategist/account manager - Someone to transfer all the emails from figma into Klaviyo If these are employees, they will be underutilized as each role is not a full time job unless they're adequately able to be repurposed onto other projects (and often, email design and copy is a very specific style so this person is hard to find) Alternatively - you hire freelancers individually and pay $10k+/mo across the board There is not many instances where this is considered an efficient use of capital. Agency who has economies of scale and can hire for these positions internally is the best bet

Some marketing jobs' "duties and responsibilities" are hilariously bad, so I had to share one from a larger local business. Below are some of the responsibilities for this position: Digital Marketing Specialist Full Time 55k ✅ Maintain, update and create website content. (Web Developer) ✅Create marketing videos.....Find B-roll, trending audio, visual effects... (Video Editor/Producer) ✅Create virtual events as needed ..... (Events Manager) ✅Act as Editor/Producer for.....(Editor) ✅Produce and design engaging digital advertising campaigns...(Performance Marketer) ✅Monitor online marketing and advertising trends and recommends new technologies and enhancements (Marketing Operations Analyst) ✅Responsible for the design and layout of materials, including flyers, posters, postcards, banners, (Graphic Designer) ✅Serve as the company photographer (Photographer) ✅Serve as the company presentation designer (Little bit of everything) ✅Develop distinctive logos (Logo Designer) ✅Build campaigns, manage audiences and track performance of e-newsletters in email software. (Email Marketing Manager) ✅Assist with standard operations of the Marketing and Communications department including writing, proofreading and editing. (Copywriter) ✅Monitor social media routinely (Social Media Manager) We may know people that can do the above (and that's a special person), but it sure as hell isn't worth 55k. Also, isn't your brand worth more to you than loading one person up with more responsibilities than they can handle? Their failure is your brand's failure. If you have this many marketing needs, here are two options. 1 - Hire a team of marketers who have the specific skillsets to help you achieve your goals. Not one person who it all lands on. 2- Hire an agency who can handle this level of need. Bell Media Group handles 90% of the above with specialists in each area. This is the real reason people hire marketing agencies. They get access to top talent at a fraction of the price. 🧩 At least if the agency is competent they should. Here's how you can look at it. You're not responsible for: 1. Benefits 2. 40-hour work week 3. Licenses/software... And all the other stuff that comes with hiring somebody talented to work for you. If you wanna hire a world-class designer, you might pay that person, 100-150k per year. 🤔 And you only need them to work on a few projects per month. Talk about overkill! You need to hire them full-time as a designer or you have to hire them as a freelancer. And they'll charge you double their normal rate because it's part-time work. Because of this, they're not incentivized to go over and above for you and you're paying more for the work! Doesn't sound that great does it? ⬇️⬇️⬇️ Now... say instead, you come and work with us at 2POINT. We rent you that talented person's time/skills at way below what they would charge you as a freelancer. We pay them for a 40-hour work week because they're not just executing for you... they're also doing that same thing for several other companies.
