Take a minute and tell them you're thinking about them, tell them something you love about them, or thank them for being in your life. 2. Donate Clothes 👗 If you have clothes you don't wear anymore, you can donate them to those in need. Find local clothing donation opportunities on JustServe! 3. Visit the Elderly 👴🏻👵🏻 Assisted living centers often love volunteers coming to visit with residents. Find a local assisted living center in need of volunteers and enjoy brightening someone else's day! 4. Plan a Park Clean-Up 🛝 Clean up trash or debris at a local park or cemetery with your friends! Join us for our #LCBAKindness Campaign, a movement dedicated to celebrating and spreading kindness in our communities. For every act of kindness shared through our website at www.LCBAlife.org, LCBA will donate $10 to a different charity each month. If you share your act of kindness on Facebook, Instagram, or LinkedIn using the hashtag #LCBAKindness, we’ll double that donation to $20. Together, we can make a real difference, with donations totaling up to $1,000 each month. Simple acts like helping a neighbor, volunteering your time, or sending a thoughtful card can go a long way. They’re committed to fighting hunger and providing access to nutritious food. 📌 How you can help: You can volunteer at their warehouse, participate in food drives, or donate funds. Every $1 donated provides 3 meals! 🤝🏼 Society of St. Stephens 📌 What they do: Society of St. Stephens offers emergency assistance to individuals and families in need. They provide food, clothing, and financial aid, helping people in crisis get back on their feet. 📌 How you can help: Donate items like food and clothing, volunteer to organize distributions, or contribute funds to support their outreach programs. 🤝🏼 HAAM Social Services 📌 What they do: Humble Area Assistance Ministries (HAAM) provides essential resources such as food, financial assistance, and employment services to individuals and families in need, fostering hope and self-sufficiency. 📌 How you can help: Volunteer at their food pantry, help with fundraising events, or make a financial contribution. "The Agape Center is different." We hear that from so many of the clients we serve. And we get to tell them that the "difference" is God. They're seeing Jesus in the people volunteering at Agape. Please join us! There are so many ways to help! 1. PRAY for this ministry. For those being served and those who are serving. 2. DONATE gently used or new items that we need or donate money to purchase them. 3. VOLUNTEER to serve once a month or on Tuesdays or Thursdays. 4. WRITE our newsletters to keep the public and our donors aware of what's happening. 5. BECOME a grant writer to find funds to help us afford to continue serving our community. 6. DRIVE a client who has no transportation to and from an appointment, getting to know them and offering encouragement. There are examples of SOOOO many ways to help.
