#qualitykeysinmobiliarios #qualitykeysrealestatemarbella https://qualitykeys.es https://lnkd.in/dB3_DR8D
Despite competing with historically low sales and inventory and heightened mortgage rates in 2023, REALTORS® and associations continued to prioritize charitable activity. - Nearly seven out of 10 (69%) Realtor® members volunteered monthly, typically volunteering eight hours each month. - Ninety-eight percent of associations held a fundraiser last year for nonprofits or charitable causes, typically hosting four events annually. - The typical amount donated annually by broker-owners increased this year to $2,400 (compared to $2,300 in 2022). https://lnkd.in/egi2uGSt

Grateful for all of the support coming in after local news outlets highlighted the struggles we've had recently. I'm incredibly proud of our team this week - we didn't have to cancel a single delivery or visit to an older adult who was looking forward to our visit, as a result of this vandalism. --- This week was however, a good example of what can happen when we have to do more with less - funding, volunteers, staff, vehicles, etc. - the amount of time we're able to spend with each of the older adults we're delivering to, is reduced. For 53% of our clients, that staff member or volunteer at the door is the only in-person interaction they will have that day; these interactions TRULY matter. Would you like to be the best part of someone's day? Actually, how about the best part of 10-20 people's day, once a week or month? To make sure that these visits are as meaningful as possible, we will continue to need additional, regular volunteers; we've made significant investments to ensure that a volunteer shift can be completed in about 1.5 hours. Sign up to be the best part of the day for older adults in your community: sosmow.org/volunteer
WATCH: SOS Meals on Wheels is facing ongoing vandalism of our refrigerated vans. This isn’t going to stop us! Our work is essential to ensuring many East Bay seniors get the nutrition they need. We are more grateful than ever for our community’s support. If you’d like to give back this holiday season, please consider donating or reaching out to get involved!

As many of you know, I’ve been deeply involved in volunteering with a remarkable charity called Tenth Life in Varna, Bulgaria (https://tenthlife.bg/), that’s working tirelessly to address the severe issue of stray cats in the streets. These dedicated people are doing incredible work, treating the sick and finding them new homes, while having amazing success stories. However, there are so many stray cats in Varna that neutering them is the only to prevent suffering and control overpopulation. The situation is dire—many of these cats in the streets are suffering from preventable illnesses, and the only thing standing between them and a healthier life is a simple procedure that costs 30 euro. This charity is essentially operating single-handedly, and while they have the passion and the manpower, they urgently need financial support to continue this critical work. How You Can Help: 1) Donate 30 euro (60 lev) (or any amount you can) to fund a neutering procedure that will not only save a cat from suffering but also reduce the number of strays on the streets. 2) Spread the word by sharing this post and raising awareness of the issue. Your contribution, no matter the size, can make a significant impact. It’s a direct way to improve the lives of these animals and support the incredible work of this charity. If you’re able to help, please consider donating here: https://lnkd.in/eWt_eZaz. Every bit truly makes a difference.

Nonprofits that are facing unexpected and unbudgeted expenses need a lifeline. That’s where we come in! Our Critical Needs List provides a place for nonprofits that are currently facing time-sensitive operational challenges to share their needs with potential donors. NAMI Pasco is one of 66 nonprofits that have faced a challenge and received funding through the Critical Needs List since it started in 2021. After damages sustained from Hurricane Idalia, Pasco County’s main mental health hospital had to close. Pasco residents turned to the only nearby mental health provider: NAMI. Facing an influx of patients, NAMI requested funds for additional staff support. Generous fundholders stepped forward to fulfill most of NAMI’s request to continue providing accessible mental health services during an especially challenging time. To amplify this important funding, we provide a 1-to-3 match to any grants made from our fundholders to needs submitted on the Critical Needs List. View the Critical Needs List to see how to help a local nonprofit, or share it with a nonprofit that you think could benefit from the List: https://loom.ly/sUT6ikA #TampaBayNonProfit #NonprofitSupport #Philanthropy #Pasco

Good Works
On this Feast Day of Saint Vincent de Paul (1581-1660), we celebrate the life and inspiration of the Society’s namesake. We reflect on Saint Vincent’s legacy of charity, compassion, and love for the poor. His understanding that addressing poverty requires not just charity but advocating for social justice. 🙌🏻 Saint Vincent’s example inspired the 20-year-old Frédéric Ozanam and his friends in the mid-19th century, when Paris was in tumult and people struggled to survive. They named the Society after Saint Vincent de Paul, who was the patron saint of charities. 🙌🏻 As Saint Vincent said, "Charity is the cement which binds communities to God and persons to one another." Our strength lies in working together, united by a common goal of serving those in need… inspired by the actions and faith of our revered namesake. 🙌🏻 May God bless the memory of Saint Vincent de Paul and give us the strength to follow his example, faithfully and courageously. Saint Vincent de Paul, pray for us 🙏
