Can employers condition leave requests on a doctor’s note? Do SDI and PFL provide protected time off? Employee leave requests can be confusing, particularly in California, where rules sometimes overlap. Our speakers will provide helpful guidance for HR professionals to understand when leave rules are triggered, how to manage employee leave requests, employees’ obligations concerning requesting a leave of absence, and more.
