It's a late post but I don't care! What an incredible evening at the Yorkshire Asian Business Association gala dinner where the NPH Ethnic Minority Business and Policy Forum Powerlist of the top 100 businesses was announced. An evening of award celebration was accompanied by an incredible 3 course asian meal, bhangra style music, and a vibrant colourful fashion show. Well done to Sharon Kaur Jandu OBE and the team for putting on an amazing event. The gala dinner was opened by Tracy Brabin, Mayor of West Yorkshire and the Consul General of India. Leeds Beckett University Associate Director for Knowledge Exchange Canon Simon Baldwin, FEEUK was on the judging panel for the Thought Leaders Award, and presented the overall Award to Mayor of Leeds Abigail Marshall Katung. It was lovely to then see Abigail take part in the fashion show. It has been a spectacular evening and good to again see some of those who were at The Business Growth Gathering yesterday - Bolu Fagborun Sherin Mathew Andy Taylor Glyn Selway Jashan Patel. Sorry if I've missed anyone, it's late! Thank you to our guests who joined us on the Leeds Beckett table. I promise I will get back to everyone I have connected with this week but please bear with me as it is our team Christmas social tomorrow and then I'm at the Luminate Employers Group Christmas Lunch this Friday. The diet starts Monday!
