"Dad, why?" "But why?" "Okay, but WHY?" Welcome to my world of raising six kids in a blended family. Imagine orchestrating a daily symphony of different personalities, needs, and endless "whys." And you know what? It's not that different from leading teams in the New World 🌎 of Work. Here's what managing this beautiful chaos has taught me about leadership: 1️⃣ Every personality is a gift: Some of my kids are natural inventors, others are born performers. Some ask a million questions, others observe quietly. The magic isn't in making everyone the same - it's in creating harmony from the differences. 2️⃣ The power of asking "Why?": Kids are relentless with their "whys?" - and that's actually brilliant. They haven't learned to accept "because that's how we've always done it." They question everything. What if we brought that same curiosity to our leadership? 3️⃣ Unity doesn't mean uniformity: In our family, we don't aim for everyone to be the same. We aim for everyone to be themselves - while moving in the same direction. The same principle applies to building high-performing teams. The most beautiful thing? When six different personalities, with six different approaches to life, come together to create something greater than the sum of its parts. Just like in business, it's not about controlling chaos - it's about conducting it. What leadership lessons have you learned from unexpected places? #Leadership #PersonalGrowth #FamilyLife #TeamManagement #Parenting
A symphony of harmonious personalities.
If that's not the greatest gift imaginable, I don't know what is. HEAVEN!

This resonates with me I love the idea of conducting chaos rather than trying to control it
I stay ahead of marketing trends and technology to make strategic recommendations to help businesses succeed in a competitive landscape.
2hI love everything about this message! I have an autistic son with a ton of learning disabilities and a neuro-typical daughter that is super smart and very creative. Both are in their 20’s. When I sat back and watched how one taught the other and how each led each other to deal with life thus far it was beautiful. My autistic son taught my daughter how to lead projects and individuals and walk through life with patience and a different type of compassion and thoroughness. While forcing her to look at things from different perspectives. My daughter taught my son to lead by example, to slow down and to be thorough too and to articulate his ideas in a way we could understand. It’s been a complete joy ride parenting them!
