It’s been a minute since I last checked in, but I’m back and feeling more refreshed than ever! Taking a break isn’t always easy, especially while trying to build your personal brand, but let me tell you, it’s SO worth it. During my time off, I focused on my clients and resting. Stepping back allowed me to recharge my batteries, gain fresh perspectives, and come back with a renewed sense of purpose and creativity. It reminded me that it’s okay to hit pause every once in a while, to prioritize self-care, and to give ourselves the space we need to thrive. Here is today’s Positive Thought of The Day: “Why worry? If you've done the very best you can, worrying won't make it any better.” – Walt Disney This connects with me in many ways. One of them used to be that I would worry so much about mistakes that may happen, that I kept myself from taking action to begin with. I would also be so worried that what I did or was about to do might not be OK, so I would ask for approval from numerous people before stepping up. Or my biggest prior concern was that after I did something, I was worrying about it endlessly. My obsession with what had happened in the past, or what I was potentially going to do in the future, kept me from taking most big actions at all. I was living in the past or anxious about the future so much that I was not really living in the present. I have found that firmly keeping myself focused on the present, living in the “now”, is the best way to live. Or sure, I can reflect on the past, but it no longer weighs me down. And I do not stress about the future. And if I can do it, anyone can. There you have it. My Positive Thought of The Day! ✈️ Turning Air Time into Prime Time ✈️ Too often, people view time on a plane as “lost” time—scrolling endlessly, watching movies, or just zoning out. But here’s the thing: every moment has potential. On this flight, I’m using the hours to dive deep into planning for my business, jotting down new ideas, and preparing for my next sales training session. This isn’t just a business trip, though. It’s also a deeply personal one. I’m visiting a dear relative who is very sick. It’s a tough situation, but one that reminds me of the importance of balancing ambition with connection. By working during the flight and taking this time to be with my family, I’m practicing what I call work-life integration—not compartmentalizing, but weaving the personal and professional together in a way that feels meaningful. We all have the same 24 hours. How you use them matters.
