🏆 I am thrilled to share that my team and I have won 3rd prize at the recent AI Hackathon at Icertis! 🎉 Starting with 33 contending teams (out of 70+ submissions), navigating through and crossing the first hurdle alongside 7 other champs, ultimately landing as Top 3 finalists and grabbing the 3rd Prize, was nothing short of an epic adventure. That's another story that I found myself more engrossed in the journey🛠 than the destination😀. After each hurdle, I remained quite neutral, nevertheless was unconsciously setting sights on becoming finalists😎. Working on this AI journey with my incredible teammates Pavan Kumar Singh, Anith Shatamraj, and Anurag A. was an absolute joy. A special shout-out to Pavan Kumar Singh for the mantra 'I Too Can Create', for forming our dynamic crew, and steering us through this exhilarating journey. Turning an idea into reality and refining it is a blend of amazement, shocks, and surprises. Despite the intense hard work, these twists and turns fueled my motivation to keep going🏃♀️. A huge thanks to everyone who cheered us on and to the organizers for orchestrating such an inspiring event👏. A notable thanks to all the contestants for their hard work and enthusiasm, that challenged my neutral reactions👀. Excited to share our journey from the AI X Spacetech hackathon! Our team (Naga Chaitanya Narasimha S Balasubramanian P) of four dove into the challenge of image-to-image translation with a shared passion for innovation. Our mission was clear: transform Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) images into Electro Optical (EO) images. With a dataset of 10,917 image pairs, each housing EO and SAR images, we were well-equipped for the challenge. We chose the SAR2EO approach, using a blend of filters to enhance SAR image information. This preprocessed data served as input for our chosen tool: Pix2Pix, a powerful model known for its ability to learn intricate mappings from input to output images. Pix2Pix became our trusted companion throughout the journey. Its reputation for excellence in image-to-image translation made it the perfect fit for our task. Before diving into training, we meticulously preprocessed the data, employing techniques like resizing, random cropping, and augmentation. These steps were crucial to ensure the model absorbed patterns effectively, enhancing its capacity to generalize and perform with precision. Our journey at the hackathon was a testament to teamwork, innovation, and dedication. We backed the FIRST PLACE 🏆 in the hackathon!

💡 AI Prompting Hackathon 🤖 Last week, my colleagues and I had the opportunity to facilitate a half-day AI Hackathon for 300+ participants in our IT sector at Skat. The hackathon teams competed to create the best prompt for an Azure chatbot interface, making it respond as a famous Danish character. Afterward, the groups tested each other’s solutions and tried to guess which characters they were interacting with. After weeks of intensive development, technical discussions on AI solutions, live bug fixing and a lot of coordination work, it was incredible to experience the buzz of happy, focused voices using their bright minds to prompt the smartest, funniest, and most accurate chatbot characters. A big thank you to Alborz Sabet, Alexander Mizrahi-Werner, and Alexander Guldbrand for developing and refining the chatbot solution and “the game”; to Kim Mortensen for an inspiring and humorous presentation on AI; Markus Mohr for his steady guidance and facilitation of the hackathon; Per Holm Hansen and Lasse Vinter for their continuous support in coordination; and Mette Damm-Svendsen and Nadeem Gulzar for envisioning the hackathon and allowing us to bring it to life. 🚀 Here’s to creating space for hackathons and innovative idea development, to expanding the horizons of AI, and to strong teamwork! #AI #Hackathon #Innovation #Collaboration #Teamwork #FutureOfAI #TechLeadership
