Decoding the Decision-Making Dilemma in Churches In the complex and evolving landscape of church leadership, decision-making often emerges as a formidable challenge. A common sentiment echoed across congregations big and small is the perceived need for more time to make significant decisions. However, upon closer examination, it's not more time that's needed but more information. This is particularly true when it comes to discussions around the concept of multi-use facilities within churches—a conversation that has been tabled far too often across America. https://lnkd.in/ezgRNfv2

How is your denomination or network addressing their key areas of inadequate training for clergy leaders? Is the training inadequate because it was not offered, not required, clergy did not take advantage of the opportunity, or these are not within the gifting, skills, and preferences for clergy? #ForthTellingInnnovation #GeorgeBullard #LewisCenter https://lnkd.in/eKjKw8yS

The 21st-Century Church: A Career, Not a Calling? In the 21st century, the church has increasingly begun to function like a business, employing pastors and staff under contracts to meet its objectives. Pastors, once seen as spiritual leaders with a divine calling, now often operate under financial pressure, treating ministry as a job due to the rising cost of living. Many are expected to fulfill a variety of roles beyond spiritual leadership, which stifles their creativity and forces them to conform to visions set by lay leaders or trends. This shift is not in line with biblical principles, which call for a church where every believer is empowered to serve. There is a need to return to a model that supports pastors in their unique callings and encourages all members to participate in ministry. #21stCenturyChurch #PastoralPressure #ChurchLeadership #BiblicalModel #SpiritualCalling #MinistryAsCareer #FinancialStrain #ChurchOrganisation #EmpoweringBelievers #RediscoverPurpose https://lnkd.in/dJJ7nQKv
