Our first quarterly report of 2024 reveals a solid start to the year, with strong sales figures. For the first quarter of the year, Net Sales amounted to SEK 192.4 million (195.5), and EBITDA was SEK 36.4 million (41.6), corresponding to an EBITDA margin of 18.9% (21.3). The product margin was 42.8% (40.4). "In line with our expectations, the first quarter of the year displayed sales levels consistent with the previous year. This is despite facing high comparative figures from 2023, during which we had a growth of 66% in the same period. We observe that the demand for our products continues to be at a high level, and for the full year 2024 we see good opportunities for growth." — Jonas Holst, CEO. Box did something over the last 12 months that I've never seen They increased their Gross Margin by more than 6% from 73.5% to 79.9% in the last 12 months. To put this in real terms in Q3 last year cost of rev was $69M this year it was just $55.5M despite doing 5% more revenue. This helped them to drive a big increase in operating income. From $11M in Q3 last year to $23M this year. The problem for Box is the same problem that they've had for the last 7 quarters. Single digit ARR growth. This quarter was just 5%. You have to go back to Jan of 23 to find a quarter with ARR growth north of 10% They spent $95.2M on S&M in the quarter to generate jst $23M in net new ARR That gives them CAC Payback of 61 months Magic Number of 0.25 The story for box at the moment is a growth one. or lack thereof. Because of this they get just a 4X ARR Multiple

What’s the greatest lever you can pull to increase your top line revenue and bottom line profits? ✅ Growing inventory And it has a 4-6X the impact of other methods. I’ll prove it here. You see when it comes down to it, there are really only 3 levers you can control to increase your top line revenue. You can… 1️⃣ Increase rates 2️⃣ Boost occupancy 3️⃣ Add more inventory Increasing inventory has the greatest impact by far. Here’s an example of a typical VRM with 40 properties, $300/ADR and 65% occupancy. 👉 If you increase your rates by 5%, you’ll increase top line by $142k. 👉 If you increase your occupancy by 5%, you’ll increase your top line by $219k. 👉 The same equivalent lift for growing inventory is adding only 1 property per month, which adds $854k to the top line… a 4-6 x impact! If you’re serious about growing your top-line revenue and bottom-line profits, focus on growing your inventory. It's the game-changer that moves the needle.
